Why do we indians cant face the mirror? Ganguly was not performing so he was dropped and the result - Chappel lost his job. Dravid was performing like his maid in the kitchen. Vengsarkar pinged him and now Vengsarkar is tamed! Chappel and Vengi lit Ganguly's and Dravid's bum on fire. See how they are performing now and not taking their position for granted.

kaushik--you would have been the first to celebrate since Bangla desh won--see your lang won--as regards defeat read reports from selectors/mangers and find out who was sabotaging what to become captain again
Friends, Until the BCCI is ruled by ignorant fools like Pawar, Shah and the like, their is no scope for improvement. Treating a former captain like this is not good. The administration should consists of former players and not others. Only then will they know how to handle a situation. If these kind of off the feild activities continues, Indian cricket is going nowwhere.
Vengsarkar seems to be money minded. Rules are rules, if he has been told not to write columns he shldnt. Why is he grumbling? He says it is his livelyhood, 45 lakhs & livelyhood, bull&shit I think we should redefine poverty.
Board is full of morons good for nothing they try to mint money as quicl as possible .Why vengsarkar is boiling so much he done nothing in his time for indian team ...look prasad and all just enjoying the party without invitation

fact is that Dravid's spineless decision is disliked by everybody barring a few BPO workers. and what guarantee that dravid wudn't have played a fantastic knock of 12/96 again? Kumble, though Dravid's teammate for 15 years, is sensible and fair to realise this, hence send Dhoni ahead. but now that Vengsarkar is no longer the selector, Chances are high of Dravid making a reappearance in ODIs thru the back door and play those stupendous innings averaging 10.2 if he has any of pride left, he shud join politics (his area of expertise) and save karnataka from people more evil than himself (deve gowda) BTW, Dravid supporters, would love to hear what abuses u learn at school.

Vengi is a shame. He deserved to go. When you are a chairman of selectors you cannot write in conflict of interest. You can't defend your decisions thru press while players are Gagged. You can't comment of players in columns because the Chairman of selctors selected them. This is very simple and BCCI is spot on here.Vengsarkar knew this before taking the post up. He should have stayed away if he thought his writing in papers is more imp. than becoming chairman of selectors. He wants to cut the cake, eat the cake, keep the whole cake and the bakery. Sorry. Very unfair.
