i dont'understand much cricket but surprised to note that after ICL episode BCCI planned such a big in the game. where was these BCCI officer till now? why they have not planned till now? Does this not a proof that these office bearer are playing wrong with the power at BCCI? I am really can not find any difference between our great present polictician and these BCCI. we all should give a big salute to ICL for making the situation when our Big Boss of Cricket (in all good or bad ) are forced to getup and work or go out.
ICL deserves a big pat on the back for shaking the sleeping giants BCCI for whom the only concern was money and not the game of cricket. BCCI working committee, if at all they are working should implement, or else ICL will become the number 1. So long as people stay in comfort zone, there will be no changes. If changes are needed for the good, there should be a constant threat, which ICL has served. Kudos to ICL.
I have choosen as per available 15 players there, because we need to be a good fielding side and until and unless we have some young guyes there this is impossible..

BCCI needs to immediately hire a short term panel of competent consultants available to Dravid from sidelines, for obvious reasons.

why dont you apply and give your able comments from the sidelines and while doing that take a pair of binoculars and watch ganguly and sachin too!

All professional sports are guided play by play from sidelines by a full staff of head coach, and assistant coaches. Unfortunately Indian Cricket still follows 100 year old tradition.
It is sad to see India not performing even half of its potential.
Its a welcome step by BCCI, lets hope they improve with such academy. It will be great if ICC recognises ICL as well as BCCI. This will be great for our the cricket in our country.
But money is not everything. What BCCI has decided is only the budget and facilities, lets wait for their vision for such academies. With ICL at least we have Kapil Dev making passionate statements for the league. No such indications from BCCI.

Its good to see a healthy competition between BCCI and ICL, no matter who ever win this competition, winner will be the cricket. Aspiring players will now have various options to make their mark in cricketing field.
