It is the time union government must intervene. BCCI should be nationalized brought under govt. control. The 800 Crore rupees should be used to open new IITs/IIMs. If this amount is used in cricket the nation would suffer a lot.

The Board threatened that players joining the ICL would not be able to represent be India in any International Cricket Council-approved tournament for their life time.
who the hell is BCCI... " REBEL PLAYERS TO FIGHT AGAINST THEM FILE A LAWSUIT and say that they dont have any rights to stop a good player playing for the conutry....
bcci is now advertising that they are going to lauch many academies and centeres where cricket is talught and.....where were these ideas all thes years? When ICL is taking its chance to launch such idea, BCCI knows their own money will be shared or even completly relocated.The fear makes them announcingthese news(mostly remain as announcements). If they have money they must announce lotteries to ordinary people who come to watch these matches.

Great batsman does not necessarily mean good person. Gavasakr never looks like a person who can be trusted. As Bedi said he likes power without accountability.
Sack this gavaskar and vengsarkar who are playing shitty politics. They are the ones who sacked veeru and irfan. I hope ICC recognizes ICL and give a big tight slap on BCCI face.Shitty politicians should leave there positions who do not have any knowledge about cricket and hand BCCI to cricketers like Kapil Dev who should kick gavaskar out first.

You are absolutely correct about Gavaskar and Vengsarkar.
One good thing has happened though...ICL has scared the shit out of BCCI. Kapil will certainly give Gavaskar and his cronies something to think about and will never let them fall asleep. Get ready to enjoy this nice long confrontation. In order to out-do the others, at least all will put in a fair amount of thinking and effort which should benefit India.
