Past Records

Still media, fans talk of past records and tell Sachin scored two centuries in earlier matches at Bristol and they expect the same from him this time also. All these mad people forget, Sachin is old, no reflexes whatsoever, hiding injuries all over the body, cannot sight the ball properly and gets hit all over the body and helmet and looks like mentally retarded chap while facing even James Anderson, leave alone Andrew Flintoff.

Unless Sachin and Dada leaves, there will not be any improvement in the teams performance. To hell with Sachin and Dad as well as Vengaskar !

India's biggest problem is the attapatu..idali vada...smabhar shit...otherwise u have to be really dumb to say chuck Sachin and Ganguly out.
When we all have seen Dravid is the worst compared to sachin or Ganguly.

How many did Dravid score in the test series.
11 from 96 balls.

SHAME

I agree sachin should be out & not ganguly. now he is playing well. Some body said dravid scored 12 of 96 balls. But for that stay at wicket ,we would have lost the match. why sachin did not stay & score even 5 out of 100 balls?

You are right. Till the starting of ICL, the BCCI administrators have not opened their mouth for the development of the Game. Now, it is time to give some good words that they are going to create cricket academies, good grounds, good infrastructure, etc. Till this time what they have done for Cricket? Whether their minds were in a dump or they really don't want to do anything for the game?. It is unfortunate that they have totally disrespecting the old wines of cricket such as Kapil & Party.

At last. BCCI must thank ICL for waking it up. Thanks to competition, India will now get right kind of cricketing atmosphere. Just one question to BCCI:Were you sleeping till now?

Why not share academies with other sports?
by Pratyush Jha on Aug 24, 2007 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

These academies can have more widespread benefits if they can be co-used by athletes for training across multiple disciplines. A few additional facilities at each centre (sport specific) would lead to much better overall development of sports. 800 crores on 1 sport is a bit extreme esp. as the infrastructure for that sport (Cricket) today is in much better shape than for any other sport in the country!

These acacdemies are not for sports , they are there for money. It is the invesment they are making for multiplying their money. And investment in sports other than cricket may turn out to be bad. It will Not be a good business decision.

Top 80 will be from Mumbai and Bangalore

This shows that BCCI is planning for them only and neglecting the talent available in rest of the country. If at all BCCI is planning for new National Cricket Academy (NCA), then it can choose any other places like chennai,Ranchi, lucknow etc.

Where is the Country going???????
by Jitesh Kumar Agrawal on Aug 24, 2007 01:50 PM

It may sound harsh but its a fact that this country has gone to dogs....see how dirty games are being played in the name of sports where money is the only driving force....and all our national tv channels are running all this throughout the day as the breaking news as if that is going to some good to common man....even after all this and the kind of game indian team is playiing we still have the time to follow all this and discuss and waste time....look at the state of affairs around you relating to ones daily life and think how much are all this people concerned with that....thats why i say this country has gone to dogs
