these guys have been adept at looking after thier personal wallets, and this late reaction, along with a slew of restrictions to other competing bodies, only show how bad they are. they are a monopoly that needs to be broken or reigned in. check the coffers, make it a public company. bring them to justice.

Investment comes because of interest not the other way round. If India wins the football world cup, it will a lot of sponsorships, but dont expect people to put money to help India win worldcup(It would be called stupidity rather than sponsorship)

So does this justify throwing 800 crores at a cricket team that will lose to teams like Bangladesh. You idiots will learn only if India loses to Bermuda, hey maybe you fools won't even learn then!. Thanks to Rediff.com in making this loser sport get more and more attention.
I am not sure what the ICL is going is to achieve ultimately but surely it going to discipline the rotten BCCI and its sickening controllers. Wish ICL good luck.

as of now, ICL sure is making the BCCI work harder than its currently is. the BCCI needs to be reigned in. thier monopolistic behavior needs a crosscheck in the courts.

u always need competition to perform better, else monopoly makes one lethargic and arrogant.
The BCCI is now making it easier for the ICL to recruit players who will come to the top next from within the BCCI Camps. All they have to do is pay - while the BCCI will train, nurture etc.,

So the God has not made the caste system by birth but based on present life's deeds. The caste system has led to the degration of the country. God has made only one human race duly divided into four parts, viz., ---- brahminn, kshatriya, vaishyas, and shudra as per present life's deeds. However, this division based, is arised for efficient working of society while keeping the nation strong and united.

As per Yajurveda mantra 22/22 nation requires education in both fields--- i) worldly like science, mathematics etc., and ii) spiritual from eternal knowledge of Vedas,which is given by a brahminn having his qualities. Nation requires protection from enemies for which army and police is required, which is kept in command by kshatriya according to qualities of kshatriya. Nation requires proper distribution of all needed items to the country like food, clothing,shelter. Essential commodities, etc., which is distributed by vaishya/Mahajan (business-man) based on his qualities of vaishya. Nation requires services of home, country and public which is kept in command by shudra i.e., those persons who did not acquire qualities of brahminn, kshatriya and vaishya due to lack of their studies etc. So human race is one who has to discharge his duties in four parts stated above.
So dear friends sincerely do your duties, promote brother hood, past is past history is a mirror for society, read it accept the mistakes committted and try to rectify in present circumstances.
make this india a beautiful and pious land to live, destroy these ravages of hatred against religions,locations and races. we all are one let us work hard to progess and make land the most developed and coveted nation

why would pawar venture into cricket. he knows there is lot of money involved. he is nothing than petty beggar who got inot politics and is now karta dharta of indian cricket. DOES HE KNOW HOW TO HOLD A BAT. HOW CAN HE JUDGE A PLAYER. I HOPE KAPIL DEV, SUNIL GAVASKAR, PRASANNA, KARSAN GHAVRI, ETC (SO MANY OF THEM ARE THERE) BECOME THE PRESIDENT OF INDIAN CRICKET.
