I think, BCCI should terminate his contract now itself.......and save india from facing more such losses.
From past one year he could send any correct message to Indian viewers.
He is just trying to impose his tactise on indian cricter. Which may not always work due to difference in attitude. My request to BCCI, please do not stop him .........
Thanks,

Amit

This was hardly the time to discuss the issue of Greg Chappell's exit. Now having decided to leave the Indian team, he will have little motivation to do well. If the BCCI is not happy with him, he should be sacked and a new coach appointed who will have the motivation to succeed. In short, the decision is ill-timed and bad for India's preparation for the World Cup.

Chappell to part

Well well well this is the best decision of the BCCI, like kapil said pasta will not suit indians, it is the same here, Out of the huge population in india and 100000 of cricketers we don't have one coach so sad. We always promote indian things and we also say be indian buy indian - now where is the indian coach for the indian team. to name some - kapil dev, gavaskar, vishwanath, b.s. bedi, ashok mankad, ajit wadekar etc etc

Chappell out after the World Cup

If the report is correct in its assumptions, then why wait till the World Cup and another failure. If Greg is no good after the World Cup, because he is no good NOW, why work towards another disappointment? Shouldn't Team India get its act together at the earliest, stop experimenting, drop the holy cows (non-performers who cannot be dropped, and start winning? - and the sooner the better. If the present coach is no good, why drag on and ensure another failure! Shouldn't Team India cut its losses, fast?

I don't think there is any point in telling Chappell that he would be sacked after a year and letting him continue. He would anyway not be interested in doing a good job. I am sure India is not going to win the world cup with the coach in such a frame of mind and the team knowing that his days are numbered. We need someone with passion to win the world cup, not a demotivated team and coach. Is someone listening? Change the coach and the entire team.

Follow my suggestions:
1. Make Mahinder Amarnath BCCI President and allow him to select his committee members. Let the rascals who never touched a ball or bat go our of this field.
2. Invite Kapil dev to couch the team before the world cup
3. Kick out Greg, Dravid and Dilip immediately
4. bring sourav as the Captain and let him select his own team

BCCI, Chappel to part ways after World Cup

Why "after" the World CUp? Why not "NOW"? BCCI has enough fund to compensate and kick the chap out of the country.
