azhar should be given the lost honours
by M.A.Azeem on Nov 04, 2006 04:27 PM

i think banning azhar from international cricket without any proof for six long years is disgusting.
i request the BCCI to honour him open heartedly and also involve him in the future cricket as coach or manager.

Azhar deserves more
by DR.ISHAQ on Nov 03, 2006 03:19 PM

Whole world of cricketers was involved and every body got away. Why Azhar should get life ban?Its a great loss to World cricket and Indian cricket in particular.

He has suffered more than he should have honestly. Not a single person on this planet can think he should be suffering anymore.

He was a delight to watch playing and we the fans are still thinking of seeing him on the pitch for his 100th test. And I am sure he is keen and fit as well.He can do it.

Another series loss

well what a brillant performance we are givivg, since Chappell is with us. can't we see what he is doing, only controvercies are there with chappell nothing else. is he a perfect coach for india. if board want team india to stand for a long in the comming world cup than they have to do something for chappell. is he here from australia to do politics or to coach our team. BCCI please do look into this matter seriously because we havent brought chappel from Australia, we brought a head-ake.
once again we r doing mistake what we did earlier before independence & once again we are getting in there hands with there old policy of " Divide and Rule".

how many of you
by sham on Oct 28, 2006 05:20 PM

How many of you love to see AZHAR back in the team?

How many of you think he deserves one more chance in the team to complete his 100th test?

How many of you think he is still good and sometimes better than few current players in the team?

How many of you would want BCCI to notice the love they have in their hearts for AZHAR and his come back which will make history rewritten?

Azhar...
by Ashish J on Oct 28, 2006 11:00 AM

He should be respected looking at his good performance during his tenure.
He can be a good coach for Indian team.
Its better to go for "Swadeshi" coaches like Azhar rather than "Importing" them.

azharuddin

Dear brother,
I agree to some extent that Azhar might have being part of that dirty game, and no one is sure yet and nothing is being proofed yet, moreover, do you think one man can do such a big thing, its(cricket) a 22 players game, do u really think one man can turn the game, so them name all them who are part and parcel of the dirty game. If you cant fingure them out, why to blame just one or two players.
And after seening Azhar for past six years i feel that enough is enough now. He deserve to back in action now.

Azaharuddin, The former Indian capitan
by aslam on Oct 25, 2006 07:33 PM

I was always wanted to give my comments on the subject, but the I never being allowed to speak. The thing is YOU politician take all the decisions and give it a public stamp.I ask all the BIG so called politician who is in the Indian politics for many many years, some of them might be for very long 25 - 40yrs. Can you tell me you never betray Indian. Can You tell me did u never being partial to your personal ends. I have lot of things to ask you and I know you will never answer. In your eyes I am just a common man.YOU are so busy in repeating same things and you dont have to think what you done to India. and what India has given you and what you have in return given to India.
Back to the thing AZHARUDDIN. I say anyone who betray India should be given big punishment, and I say everyone whoever he is and whatever he is....
And the thing is it is six years now and no one is saying anything, what is happing and is Azhar case, did he really betray india.Did you get the proofs. I want to know the answer. Till then Azharuddin is innocent and he should be give all his six years back with due diginity and respect.Till he proofs guilty of charges(IF HE IS).
that what Ithink ALL US WANT

Guilty only if proven
by Naveen Aysola on Oct 24, 2006 04:15 PM

Azhar should be first proven guilty for people to say that he should be pardoned. Even if he is involved, the entire cricketing world definitely indulged in it during the same period. BCCI was fixing tournaments by conducting them at regular intervals in Sharjah, at inappropriate times, which would lead to any player not taking those matches seriously. I would like to know how serious are charges on Azhar. If he is more guilty than Cronje or less guilty than Gibbs. Any which way, its tough for anyone to prove it unless he confesses it (like Gibbs, Cronje and Warne did).
Now what if he was not guilty? Why did they find out that he was involved just before his 100th test? It's just like some professor in college who hates you to core and does not give you your hall ticket just before the exams, no matter how good your record is.
Any which ways, the truth will never come out. Or it will come out in a book written by some BCCI member a la Musharraf to sell.
By then everything will be forgotten. Azhar has gone through enough punishment. He can contribute a lot to Indian cricket (not teach betting to youngsters ;) ).
There was only one Azhar.. need at least one more for the future
