Couregeous move by BCCI
by Monis Ansari on Oct 17, 2006 12:45 AM

Hi,
I think we all should appreciate BCCI for this move.
Whatever has happened is past & already Azhar has suffered alot.
I strongly feel, One person cant be responsible for a match which 11 people play from a side.

I Congragulate BCCI for this move.

Thanks
-Monis

Return of Azhar
by Sam on Oct 16, 2006 09:27 PM

Azhar has contributed a lot to nation in terms of giving new dimension to cricket in India. He was an inspiration to the young cricketers for his style of fielding and batting.
He deeds could not be proved yet but in any case it should not destroy the spirit of cricket and cricketers. Lot of others cricketers are also involved, there are allegations but based on allegation one cannot be punished.
He deserves the minimum courtesy to be given the status of the well-known and publicly famous cricketer.

Include Azhar
by Haney Zaidi on Oct 16, 2006 06:28 PM

I truly believe that it is now time to soften towards this legend we know as Former Indian Captain Mohammed Azharuddin. He has definitely sat out his punishment. The biggest punishment is not being included in the 100 Tests Club. He has inspired the youth when he was active and he will definitely be inspiring to a Club or State if he coaches. His experience is exactly what India needs to succeed. Please include him in Indias future BCCI and do not succumb to the ICC pressure. To err is human to forgive is divine!! We Indians know it too well.

Azhar deserves to be honoured. at last thanks to Mr Pawar and his team they i feel are now thinking in the right direction . when the world cricket didnt bother to reprimand why we indians should act like Satya Harischandras , Has he been proved no then why if you think yes then all others (Including Indian & International Cricketers be treated like how azhar would be. You need two or more hands to clap

dear,
mainik das we appreciate your ethics and respect for the country, but novel thinking will not yeild fruits it should have real morals i think one cannot make difference in isolation it needs support of total nation where most of them are curruptive.so before pass on coment one should from all angles.

Dont't give a wrong message by inviting Azhar !!
by Mainak Das on Oct 16, 2006 04:52 PM

Dear Administrators of BCCI...
Please don't give a wrong message by inviting Azhar..and for God's sake dont't don't compare with other countries treatment of the traitors..Azhar has betrayed his country by trying to make India lose against rivals..he shud not be pardoned..its just not any other sports crime like drugs etc..its blatant betrayal of our country..

So dont even think of Inviting Azhar as it might lead to a wrong message that anybody can get away by betraying Azhar..

Azhar bhai
by srikiran on Oct 16, 2006 02:38 PM

Its proved that Azhar is guilty but i still like that great wrist handed player, No body can match his techniques and more over he is foresighted, hence he was still the most capped captain for India. I call Azhar's mistake as a human mistake, well he was punished for what ever he has done but we should definitely honour our great captain. i wish Azhar would return to cricket and am 100% confident that he could be the great coach for India, we wouldnt have any fitness problems for Indian Players. Azhar himself still having a great fitness, one should definitely notice the Teamleader and decipline in Azhar. Hence Azhar is 100% deserved to be honoured. Azhar bhai kaha be ho thum achaa rahooo.
