by Gopal on Oct 18, 2006 07:35 AM  | Hide replies

I think rediff want to publish only those message which is in favor of Azahr..SO rediff to started Game..If you goes the same way I am sure Rediff will losse the Ground..

Some here so Azar was great player ..Yes so we gave me captaincy the highest owner in Indian cricket what did he do..He betrayed us..

Some said charges were not proved..FYI Azar himself has confessed to CBI and he literlly cried ..

Some said why only Azar and not warne and Markwaugh and Gibbs..Well SA did punish Hanse Cronie for Life time as he was the main traitor.. Now dont tell me that Azar was better then Cronie..Still SA punished him..

This all is BCCI plitics ..

And Rediff too has got something from BCCI to prove their point

I hope rediff will Still Publish this..

If not neevermind

yea Mr.Nav u r right nothing has been proved aginst AZHAR and till now the BCCI is aginst that guy who added something best to the indian cricket acording to NAV the sounth african and pakistaanis never take any serious action against the player who involved in fixing but the INDIAN really did much with the AZHAR now the BCCI should forgive to AZHAR and allow him to participate in all these bcoz he has to earn his living.
So i request to the BCCI plz thinks on this matter and u will feel that its really very hard with AZHAR
THANX

forgive AZHAR
by nav on Oct 18, 2006 01:07 AM

According to me the BCCI should forgive to the AZHAR bcoz he has suffered a lot and he was the best captain of his time.Wat the pakistan has did with his pplayer when they caught in the fixing, they allowed them to play and nothing has been proved against AZHAR till now the BCCI is against the AZHAR. BCCI should forgive AZGAR nd should allow play one test so tht he can complete his 100th test.
u can compare the south african players they were involved in the fixing but nothing has been done against them.

Azhar should be honored. He had enough for what ever he had done. So let's not ignore one of the greatest cricketer the world has ever seen.

Honouring Azhar..
by R Krishnaraj on Oct 17, 2006 11:42 AM

I dont think there is nothing wrong in honouring Azhar, because as a player he was one among the best India has ever produced. He has captained India in three world cups too.

Azhar's return.
by Madhusudhan on Oct 17, 2006 11:03 AM

It is unfortunate to target only Azhar when all country players and officials were involved. This type of a treatment should not be meted to him as he is one of the living legends in the game. Nobody can forgety his innings against S.A along with Sachin how he decimated their bowling. WELCOME BACK AZHAR.

Inviting Azhar Is a good absulitely Right
by Ashish Pandey on Oct 17, 2006 10:29 AM

Invitation by B.C.C.I.to Azhar is a good decission we should never ignore the former cricketers performance for the Indian Team .In this the attitude of I.C.C.is not possitive .Thanks to B.C.C.I.&I wish that Due to S.Ganguly Performance the Election Cometty Should Give Chance to Ganguly his experience may be helpful in the World Cup Vision 2007.
Thanks &Regards

do not soften stand on him
by riyaz on Oct 17, 2006 06:11 AM

the ban on azhar should continue and why not any body who bring disgrace to counrty should be ban in the way as azhar is,though the board has thought otherwise by extending an invitation
but one thing should be kept in mind that ICC is showing double standard by not pointing to Gibbs eventhough he admitted to police about and to other players who were also involved
thus we should invite azhar to the ceremony and show to the world that we also honour people who lifted the game to the lkevel it should be but if they fail to keep the respect of the country before oneself they will not be tolerated.
