AMAZING ARTICLE!
by Malay on Nov 01, 2006 05:46 PM

AMAZING!

One of the most practical, unflattering, mature and hence moving pieces written on the God and his passion.

CHEERS!

SACHIN IS INDEED THE GREAT
by pradeep on Oct 23, 2006 10:10 AM

To sachin the greatest tribute i can pay is that i started watching cricket because of him. i finally ended up representing the college etc. but the passion is still there 15 years after. players like sachin may or not come again but indeed a good human being like him who has seen such prosperity and riches still maintaining the same good nature and family sense as he used to hav that is really is very rare. It is indeed a previlege to hav him as a person who we lived with.

For India to win...
by shivu on Oct 12, 2006 10:40 AM

This is an electronic world I agree. But, there's something called a jinx when it comes to India not winning from a real winning position. If anyone thought about the reason, it's not becuase Sachin failed or Sachin's century made the others to be complacent. It's INDEED ArunLal's commentary. Am not going to give here the statistics becuase, it's too many. Just try to recall any game or watch any highlights. You'd notice that the team is batting very well chasing a target or on way to set a massive total. The moment our guy comes in to commentate, woala... couple of quick wickets fall and the match will be over right there. He can't give a personal opinion on anything as well. All he says is, "INDEED... YOU ARE CORRECT..." If you don't believe this, you just watch a game!!!

Nice article but gratuitous swipe at
by Withheld on Oct 11, 2006 11:27 PM

Good article about Sachin but why the gratuitous swipe at "Hindu" economy? Does anyone call the economy of US Christian economy or the economy of Saudi Arabia or Pakistan Muslim economy or the economy of Israel Jewish economy?

In a day and age where Hinduism is being attacked from all quarters, when thousands of poor people are converted to Christianity in the most aggregious manners, when one cannot read an honest, objective piece of history or news about Hinduism, this untoward mention of Indian economy is most uncalled for.

Yes ofcourse we want to preserve sachins image
by Ashok kumar on Oct 11, 2006 11:14 PM

what is said in the article is absolutely true. It is said to say Indians have this behaviour of making other to top or joy with desciminating others pride and achivements. Sachin himself is a person to look not for his achivements but for his human behavious in the ground as well as out. We want to acknowledge what he has done to this country. He is inspirational and for me i pray everytime when he is on pitch. Look for his hardwork , commitment and stability and if we follow this inour life in our area we will also get in to heights. We are not knowing the worth of people when they are around us. please let us live him as a legend of cricket and we get proud to say sachin is cricket , little master is the geneious and master of cricket.

Very well said
by Anup Saha on Oct 11, 2006 01:19 PM

Excellent. This is a slap to all of them who are too ordinary to criticise the master.Sachin is the greatest source of life, happiness and aspiration in this part of the world for nearly two decades and he will be the same for years to come. Thank God for this great gift.

So True.............
by Niraj S. Bidkar on Oct 11, 2006 02:02 AM

Its an excellent article...very well written and very true. This is the first article I have read in more than two years where Tendulkar has received the true acknowledgement he deserves.

Gaurav is very right in pointing out the vulture-like attitude of the media of degrading Sachin's achievements and his contributions to cricket. Sachin has been my hero, my inspiration and my hope just like he is to millions ans billions of others.

I am very sure that Tendulkar will end his career on a high note and he will remain a legend of Bradmanesque heights. I would like to cite a metaphor here to prove this point...just because Sun is covered by clouds sometimes does not mean that its gone...
