Cosidering Murli's standard and his ability to spin of evem flat pitches I am sure that he will complete is 1000 wicket target. He must keep him self fit till and make all Asians proud. I wish him luck.
Well, Murli is one of the Best Off spiners the game of cricket has ever seen. I had predicted his 1000 wickets before a year because you dont see him unfit so many times.
Yes he is only the one in cricket histroy than warne and only one player from asia can do 1000.If he consuntrate only on test cricket iam dam sure about murli 1000......np
Definately what The Australian Leg Spinner legand did is an outstanding Achievement. But The Sri Lankan off spinner will achieves 1000 when he'll take off from international cricket
I wish he acheive this height (after all the only long playing Tamilian the Srilankan Cricket team ever had? someone can correct if am wrong). But as he clearly mentioned, he is already at 34 and he needs another 4-5 years to complete this. Am not discouraging but, feel it doubtful to achieve. But am sure he create a new record in number of test wickets to be there in his name for long long years. All the best to him.
In my point of view "Where there is no way there is Murli's way", but Murli is something different than other bowlers bcuz his contemporary achievement and his magical spells appreciate all the audiences and at present world has a expectation, it would be fulfill by Murli only.
Thousand wickets are not lesser than the magic but I hope as a world-class bowler like Murli is one of them who can achieve this goal easily without any obstacles often.
What I say bout him, he is my favorite ever time bowler which nobody can't deny. Always he is passing through ICC test for CHUNKING and DOOSRA ball matter, but it's absolutely wrong means blames towards a world-class bowler, who created a milestone and it's impossible to achieve his target for other bowlers.
I have that much of confidence, definitely Murli can achieve 1000 test wickets in his international career. I pray to god for his successful career and ultimate mantra of success.
