1000 wickets...is wat u ging to acheive before u retire from cricket..we wish u all the best for 1000 sclaps and...prevent injuries and stay fit..tat itself gonna give u 1000 wickets...

It is virtually impossible to reach 1000 wickets for Murali, even if he plays for another five years because he would never be completely fit.

Murali can definitely reach the 1k mark...considering Sri Lanka plays Zimbabwe n Bangladesh all the more...His strike rate with these countries is phenomenal...It doesnt matter how one gets there...records made against minnows are RECORDS come what may

There is no other bowler as reliable as him. More than 6 wickets per match (far more than shane warne).
