Pakistan doing so for last 20 years , thanks to Hair
for the guts he showed. The people who dont know ABC of cricket supporting act of Pak.
Ball will never reverse swing without tampering, it is only Pak in international cricket which is doing so.

As the matter is standstill, if Hair is deputed for any ODI, pakistani should continue to boycott and Melcolm Speed being the Australina, will definitely favour Mr. Mr. Hitler

No.

Anyone calls you a cheat without proof, you have a right to show dissent, annoyance, anger everything. When a whole team is accused of cheating without proof then they have every right to show dissent. When Tendulkar was accused of ball tampering, how did we feel ?

pakistan dissent not justifiable
by anoop asranna on Aug 25, 2006 10:29 AM

we live in a globalised world, but still racial identities continue to conflict.with dilution of a national identity we associate ourselves with a particular race.this issue must not be reduced to a racial conflict.it will be hypersensitive on the part of the asians to accuse hair of racism.imran khan and other pakistani stalwarts are always extreme in thier views.this issue arose because of pakistan.how can u justify not taking yhe field as a form of protest???

Darrel Hair may have acted in haste.but the pakistani reaction was unwarranted.Cricket is trying hard to have aglobal reach,it can do away with such incidents

Im not a Darrel Hair fan by any means, but im cent percent sure that Pakistani team did tamper the ball and paid for it. These guys have done that in the past and recieved a lot of flak for it, yet they still keep doing it!! Those guys are cheats and deserve everything they'r getting

Umpire decision is final.

When we see the history of cricket of Pakistan, first of all most of the pak players doesnt have discipline and they are reday for the voilence to win the crusual matches and they have a controversy of ball tampering right from the beginning.

I wont feel sorry for Pakistan whether they tampered or not until they stop supporting violence in other countries. India should not join hands with Pakistan against any violence. Why do they need India's help in Cricket. They are a strong nation and Mush can fight his battle alone. We should stop playing cricket with Pakistan till they stop violence like 7/11

We are with u Pakistan even if you are not
by Shammi on Aug 25, 2006 08:16 AM

No matter what the concern is even if Pakistan is a guilty or not, I wil stand by the people of Pakistan and Pakistani Cricket Team, these white people think its the white man's world and they have to make out a fool of people from our region. The next thing Pakistan is to do is to fight for there cause in the right way and through right channel.

So come on Paksitan no matter whats the cause you might not stand with India but we certainly do stand with you people.

Whether Pakistan justified......
by M.S.R.Anjaneyulu on Aug 25, 2006 07:07 AM

Pakistan is not absolutely justified in their protest and they themselves are to be blamed. Every thing the Pakistan Team Management including the Captain did on the 4th day of the 4th test was utter nonsense and shows lack of commonsense and ignorance of the laws of the game.Umpires have to follow the laws as they are written, so it's hard to fault the umpires in this case. Cricket is once again on the verge of disgracing itself by failing to support an umpire who has the courage to uphold the laws of the game. I do not understand why whole Pakistan is acusing Darrill Hair and not B Doctrove, even though both umpires took the decision jointly. In fact Mr. B Doctrove first removed the bails to signal that there is no more play and the match was awarded to England as per rules. That itself shows the Pakistanis are not really worried about the result of the Test Match. They are only particular to blame only Mr. Hair but not Mr.Doctrove

I feel Umpires should be replaced with cameras.
by Nisar on Aug 25, 2006 01:08 AM

Any good umpire would give the reason for his decision ,when the players demand like example-if bowler and wkeeper appeal for caught behind, if it strucks to batsmans arm, umpire says not out and shows the arm and followed by cameras which are advanced in these days covers from every possible angle, even you take LBW decission. why in this ball tampering, umpire Hair has not given clarity in his decission, without any firm reason, he was stubborn to show finger on ball tampering? when Inzi demanded for clarity,Hair did not feel any importance to his appeal. Ok ,if really pakis would have done ball tampering atleast our advanced cameras could have captured? If pakis are known for ball tampering so as Hair is known for unfair umpiring, hence here in this issue we should not go in to their history, but we should penalise the wright person here, now its our responsibility as a fair umpire to take decission in this issue. plz dont give your decissions out of your hat. You also would be stamped as Hair a racist.
