Mr.Wright

Dear Mr. Wright,
You said Mr.Greg is facing teething problem. You're not matured. For your cricketing maturity, I'ld suggest u must contact Mr.Lavakare & Mr.Prem Panicker, our best cricket pundits without having played cricket. Besides cricket you'll also become an expert in politics/economics/international matters or whatever subject you desire, during your training with Mr.Lavakare. He will teach u how Ravi Shastri can be considered India's most courageous batsman despite his very poor records who can sit to judge India's second most successful batsman. How dare you can say like this?Did u advise yr youngest brother in an international cricket match to bowl underarm? Did you avoid twice tour to India when you were in full form? Do you know, Mr. Greg is such a cricketing personality that his country never dared to even consider him to appoint in their Selection Committee? Just after your appointment as Indian Coach, did you make any adverse comment against Sachin Tendulkar for which Indians expressed their annoyance? After you became Indian Coach, did your remarks/e.mails make many cricket pundits to humiliate/insult so far the best Captain of India thr' Print & Electronic Media?

indian cricket will surely pay

The information communicated by rediff.com on the above subject is hundred percent correct true. Indian cricket is full of politics and foulplay. Talented cricketers were ignored in the past for representing India and this kind of politics will continue ever in India. it is a curse to the nation.I being a cicketer at young age not able to digest this type of senario at this age. This kind of attitude among cricket governing body and players in india will further ruin the image of little cricket we earned in the forth comming years. God alone should save the indian cricket

I feel pity for Arvind Lawakare
by Anshu on Sep 29, 2005 03:44 PM

I feel pity for you Mr Arvind Lawakare. Your one point campaign to spread hatred on Ganguly not only failed but backfired. When you found that your design has not worked then you are angry with every body- Gavaskar, Ravi Shastry, Venkatraghavan, Manager of touring India team, present and past BCCI president, six ex captains who supported the verdict.

You have written it's shame on them. It's actually shame on you. All are fools and you in the world are the only intelligent person available !!!

Indian Cricket - The only person wishing well in BCCI meeting is a foreigner
by Narayanan on Sep 29, 2005 03:43 PM

Being an Indian I feel really bad about the outcome of the meeting. Makes me feel like why there is a board for Cricket in India. Is it just to make Mr. Dalmia and (sorry to say this) 2 minutes noddles as the chair person and the captain of indian team respectively. The respect everyone had for Ganguly, the champ is slowly dieng because of his intention to retain captaincy inspite of his bad performancesssssss (for more than one year) during near past. If he has self respect he should get himself out of the team. Indian Cricket is not equal to Dalmia+Ganguly. It is for Indians. It alsy makes me angry on myself what the hell did the senior 3 captains do in the meeting. Don't they care about Indian Cricket. Is there only one foreigner in Indian Cricket to care about it. Are there no Indians in the BCCI or in the meeting to care for Indian Cricket. Is Indian cricket going to used by Industrialist and Politicians for their own purpose. My request to Ganguly, Sir it is high time please get off before you are disliked by every one. Please note Sir the more and more you stay as the captain you will only get the more disrespect from all Indians. Hope you understand.

A parocial bias mind can never think positively. This is an example. Please get back to BBC sports news which
negets most of the information came out in Star news.
Mr Chappel desired and acted to eliminate voice of
contesting his arguments and establishing his power of
suprimecy within the shortest period of time.It will
surprise most Mr Rahul Dravid would have gone Captains
side had been called to express his views. He was the
person resisted Captain leaving for India midway. He feels no Captain shound be discussed in open.Mr Graig Chappel knew eliminating Ganguly will give him clar
platform to rule. The three captains on the review committee have had more experience than most of us.
It is better now as both have to perform and that
should be the activity.

Indian cricket will surely pay

I agree with Mr Arvind, that Greg Chappell should return to Australia immediately. The BCCI & the review commitee fooled the public.I strongly feel, the govt from their side should interfere and see whats happening.BCCI is run with total DADA giri, whats it.There is a Chairman but a puppet why do we require a puppet to run such a big corporate called BCCI.BCCI can appoint a CEO a media manager to take care of the activities.By just making Mr Sharad Pawar & Mr Srinivasan has Marketing incharge is to get them close & make the puppet sit again.Mr Dalmiya is in the impression that the public is a fool. With what ever I have heard & read I feel the BCCI should have sacked Gauguly & supported Chappell to continue with command.

Is Ganguly so important to Indian Cricket
by avsrinivasan on Sep 29, 2005 02:33 PM

Chappel is none otherthan an Australian who are the best team in the world they are famous for taking hard decition like removing Steve Waughs,Haydens,Mark Waughs and Damien Martins but same people who is mentioned above woulkd have been in Indian cricket they will be playing until they retire even if they are 70 yrs old.So for them its performance they dont know these Indian politics like the youngest Harbajan speaks against a big cricketer like chappel.Let me tell you Iam not a person whos is against Ganguly I love gangulies off side strokes I accept the famous saying of Dravid that Ganguly is next to god in the off side but still its a sports more than any thing dicipline is important and dont forget Ganguly might be a g8 captain but with a loosing record of 12 continues finals.
Compromise is the word of the day but why compromise call spade a spade. One has to go out for the good of Indian Cricket. Its not fair in calling a foreign coach and asking him to get away so give a chance to Chapel by changing Captain for a series and if he fails ask Ganguly to take over and prove himself..

Its true that ganguly has no shame and he should have been warned for going to press in public leave alone for standing against the suggestions by the coach.
