I really cannot understand Prem Panicker, If India has a good chance at world cup and other finals then Chapell is the way to go, I think Prem Panicker also is from Bengal, people there tend to support ganguly blindly, he was a good captain, he was a good batsmen etc, Gavaskar was a good batsman and Kapil Dev a good bowler, are they same now ? time changes everything so, throw ganguly out, get a new captain Shewag, Dravid or Kaif and please listen to Chapell. Ppl in Indian team Harbajan, Zaheer etc don't like Chapell because he makes them work hard, if you want to be a quality side in the world you have to work hard, If harbajan or his buddies can't work hard, they should step down and allow youngsters who will take the team to the new level, It is ridiculous, they hate the coach because he wants to instill discipline, these ppl need to be sent home along with Ganguly,
Why is there so much politics and nepotism in everything? Seeing these events unfold, i think only because 1 billion people are so passionate about this game resulting in so much money, cricket is surviving otherwise this would have also gone the hockey way.
when asked about the past performances of india in nations ouside the subcontinent he always replys"I DONOT BELIEVE IN PAST PERFORMANCES". but he is citing the same (scoring 10000 runs lon....g before in ODI) past experiance to retain his captaincy and he now is prepared to do anything to cement his place in the team thus he proves that he is not a follower of his own words maybe taking sometime and re-entering is not so bad for him......
Ganguly should be made the captain for another 10 years !

Whether we loose 19 finals under Sir Ganguly or we loose another 100 finals under Ganguly, we should back him to the hilt !
So what if Ganguly cannot bat. So what if he is a white elephant ! He is an Indian like us ! I fully agree with Partho B : that Chappell should be sacked immediately !
Chappell is being paid so much and he should be doing all the work-outs fitness exercises and hard-work. Not Ganguly ! If he cannot dance to Ganguly's tune, the person who got him selected in the first place, then Chappell must go.
Please send in a coach from Bihar, Jharkhand or Calcutta for the job at hand. People from other states should not apply ! Also only dark skinned coaches should be needed.
I think it is time the media took some positive action in this regard. It is quite obvious that nothing short of a tsunami or a massive geological shift can remove Ganguly from the post of non playing captain of Team India, so long as he has the great man Dalmiya pimping for him. I use such strong words because it is frustrating for a true Indian fan to watch this imbroglio in silence. The media should boycott anything that Ganguly and his loud mouthed coterie ( currently consisting of that overrated,arrogant offspinner called Harbhajan Singh )takes part in. It is about time that we took decisive action. I appeal to all genuine Indian fans to take strong steps in this regard. Please consider it, Mr. Panicker, or else Indian cricket will become ( not that it already isn't! ) the greatest joke in the world! For a change, let sycophancy stop and performance take the front seat! I guess Chappell would be saying to himself ala the movie "Beckett" - Will no one rid me of this troublesome Ganguly!!!
