current situation
by mathew Varghese on Sep 27, 2005 06:17 PM

I too agree with Coach Greg Chappel ,i feel it's the right time for ganguly to step down and give the situation to Rahul Dravid .Ganguly don't have the agression now what he had earlier .He is not excellent in fielding ,his fitness is alway in doubt ,batting has become worse .Seeing all this ,to reduce the captaincy pressure he should step down for his goodwilland the team sprit's keeping in his mind and i don't know why Harbhajan went against the coach ,john wright has left and now th e team has to adopt a new coach training method ,off course it happen's in all section,i feel harbhajan is also not picking up in the wicket in the current series held .and when the coach backed him up for the series wwhen selector felt to rested him up .

What ever u do but it has to be for team sake and in the interest of the players who all are playing .million poeple are attached with this game .So don't loosen up their heart ,otherwise one day no will come to watch the match .

Thank yOu
Mathew Varghese

A player should not have the authority to revolt against the Coach. If every soldier second guesses the general and voices his own opinion, the military can not function. Thank goodness that we do not allow this kind of stupidity in our armed forces. In my opinion fire Ganguly (even if he was best player which he is not). Make it very clear that coachs authority can be questioned. If the coach fails to achieve the results expected from him, fire and hire a new coach. BCCI should state this view and should not interject itself in this political game. But Indians love their politics, and BCCI will be player in this power politics.

Ganguly first created the fuss

Team need to be professional.
Ganguly should be asked to show his fitness and play well then come into the team.
Till that moment he should be sacked.
Chappel must be given chance to do it.

Ganguly should retire in dignity instead of making himself an object of ridicule.

Throw away Dalmia as well as Pawar
by Ganesh on Sep 27, 2005 05:53 PM

These useless people who don't know much about cricket but just making money out of it, should be thrown out first. Only ex-cricketers should be in admin panel. This should be applicable to any sport like Hockey not just cricket. Has KPS Gill played for the Indian hockey team ? or Dalmia / Pawar ever played for our cricket team ? Then, why these interfere in the sports affair for which they are unfit to the core.

Please someone file a suit in court to stop any such people (other than ex-cricketer) entering the Admin wing of Indian cricket ?

Please think about this for the sake of brighter future of Indian cricket.
