Hi Ganguli should put his one hand on his chest and asked honestly to himself " If he really deserve a sit in the national team on his current form?" He should think of those akward moments when a fast bowler deliveres a bouncer to him.If he has real self prestige he should stop high lighting one odd good score against team like Zimababwe or Bangladesh. He last played well against a good team was 3 years back, when he hit a century against Australia in Brisbane. He was a good one day batsman and was just a average test batsman. Should he get a automatic place in the team for his past performances for ever( hopefully not due to the century against Zimababwe)?

Gangualy has done for the team a lot and he has got enough in return from it .But nothing is more constant then change ,now the time requires him to go and prove that he is really great.

It is pretty difficult to defend Ganguly as far as his batting in recent times goes.But lets face it,this is not the kind of treatment the greatest Indian captain ever deserves.especially after it has been acknowledged that his leadership was responsible for bringing that killer instinct and aggression in our team...the man who took on Steve Waugh and finally ended up winning his respect,and we are talking of Steve Waugh,someone with much much greater credentials than Greggy.But saurav does need to get back his touch,his flair in batting,and pretty soon.Maybe he can take leave from International cricket for sometime and get himself among runs at the domestic level.But then,one can argue that the season has only just begun,Saurav should be given more chances,he didn't fair badly in Zimbabwe after all.In the one dayers he was looking like he was getting into his own especially with those cover drives.And before that he had quite a successful stint in English County cricket with Glamorgan.Lets see if he has finally got back his form.He deserves our backing.In India we put our heroes down pretty quickly,it happened to Kapil Dev.Maybe we'll repent later if Saurav's no given this chance.
I feel that Chappel is giving a honest opinions about fitness of team & their chances of winning the WORLD CUP. Logically thinking why will CHAPPEL for no particular reason just one day out of blue decide BAD MOUTH bangali babu. I dotn think an individual like CHAPPEL will do anythign like that. I think his statements are the most HONEST ones.
