In my view,greg was an intelligent coach.so,he can do everything right for our team.since john wright was sensitive coach,ganguly did everything as he want,but greg was a daring coach,he is concentrating towards 2007 worldcup from now.so,give power to him for developing our cricket.so,in my view ganguly must go for the sake of our cricket and country.
It is high time that ganguly stepped down as the captain of the indian cricket team. He does not even deserve to be a part of the touring team leave alone be in the playing eleven or being the captain. Just because of his connections with the top bosses in the BCCI he continues as the captain. If the same had happened to somebody in a country like australia he would have been sacked long ago. I entirely agree with Mr chappel ehen he says that Ganguly fails on the all the parameters.
DADA please step down geacefully so that we can always remember you for some of the grat innings you have played instead of remembering you as a person who wanted to cling on to the captaicy at others cost.
I denies Chappel's commands. Sourav is the most sucessful captain of India. Sourav is the only man to capable & handle Captain is very good. He doesn't split the team. He is sacrificing his opening for benefit the team. He is the good batsman. So I always Support Sourav.
Dear sir I feel its just a conspiracy by an Australian to damage the spirit of team India, Sourav is well accpeted and got respect from all the team members, he could manage the whole team both with senors and juniors and i feel sourav is the only captain in India who always come forward to back your players and new comers,only during his captaincy the unfair practice of the inclusion of plyers of captains own region is abolished which was quite common during Azharuddins tenure and also applicable for other previous captains, Above all to be true Sourav has all the capabilities of leading a team and only concern abt his recent batting form, here i think we the Indian should give him moral support rather than tearing him in to pieces by criticism, and should learn from the Australians who backd Ricky Ponting after his ASHES failure both as captain and as batmman. This is the thing to learn and apply, and not to give much importacnce to some one who dont know much abt our players makes loose comments, its his duty and responsibility to improve our team but not to demoralized the spirit when our team is not going through a good phase. so i would like to say WE LOVE U SOURAV
i read with interest the comments of our people and would like to share my feelings about the story. I strongly feel that ganguly got more chances than anybody to improve his form .others are to prove but ganguly is to improve only. but that did not happen. you can't claim success of hitting a hundred against zimbabwe after 20 months. on the otherhand, chappel should show professionalism and understand why he could not mend the ways of ganguly. It is because both are egostic and arrogant. they cannot sort out the problems but can compound it., which isnot in the interest of the game. It is hightime the board takes pragmatic approach and better change the captian who is agressive keeping an eye on 2007 worldcup.
Coach aims for world cup. He is trying to do his job by imposing strict guidelines on physical & mental fitness. He should be correct as he was a successful captian & from a country where talented cricketers exits... If GANGULY wants to be in team, let him fight against his LAZINESS, otherwise its better to QUIT.
Looks like Mr. Chappel wants to be the coach AND the captain of the team. Hey buddy, you just showed up 2 days ago. Saurav has been leading the team for 5 years now and no one has done it as good as he has. Have some respect for your elders Mr. Chappell!!!
It is very plain that his arguments are biased and do not add up. He has been speaking against Saurav even before he joined the team. It is this person who has built this team from scratch.
I would expect the media to support our own Saurav instead of going ga ga over some foreighner who has never trained any national team. Just imagine what would have happened if Saurav had asked the coach to step down in the middle of the series! All would have gone for Saurav's head. Why is the media not going for Chappell's head for asking a captain to step down in the middle of the series? I do not understand this infauation with the white skinned "high profile" coach who does not know the basics of getting the team united. It is he who is causing the rift in the team. chappell - grow up or go back to australia.
