There is no right to a coach to demand to change the captain of a team. If it is so, are the BCCI Managements stupid and blind? The selecters knows very well about Ganguly as a brave and successful captain. For all his services, now he is crucified by the new appointed coach. He has no authority to ask Captain to resign, and if he has asked, Ganguly should not reveal it infront of press. Of course, he has made mistake by publishing it. The coach in the beginning itself not co-operating with team captain, I can't understand how he is going to train the team members friendly. All the team members knows captain better than the coach who is appointed newly. Our previous respected Newzealandi coach didnot question anything about Ganguly. Was he not a good coach?
My suggestion is coach has to cooperate with captain, then only the team will be perfect. OK, is Chappel give us guarrenty that India will get 2007 world cup, sothat, we can change captain. There is till time. Let him decide about it. Otherwise he should not demand the change of captaincy.

According to me, Chappel is the best coach because he is only coach who has given his mission & vision statement and priority given to players fitness, discipline & and their performance in which Ganguly is failed. At the same time, Ganguly captaincy is quite good but his individual performance is poor due to which conflict arises between Coach & Captain. So, Ganguly should be resigned as a Captain & leave the place for another player.
The reason for Ganguly not speaking about Chappel's new charges is, he is taking time to build up some stories. You know 'story tellers' usually take time to think and then write SOMETHING.
