Ganguly should step down.
by Vivek on Sep 16, 2005 01:15 PM

This is seriously the ideal time for Ganguly to step down. Atleast he can be content with the fact that he has scored a century and then stepped down. As a captain and in the true sportsmanship he should pave way for more talented and deserving youngsters. Rather than set an example he is following the path set by some corrupt politicians who hold on to their "kursi" by clinging on to his captaincy and a seat in the Indian team.

Babumoshai. All the youngsters look forward to the Indian team as a role model, we wouldn't like to have cricket turned into a mud slinging match between the coach, captain and the players. Come on..show us some maturity and sportmanship.

Good ol' Ganguly
by jhp122 on Sep 16, 2005 01:12 PM

Hey,
Thru all the up's n downs I thought the fighter that Ganguly is, He will survive n come back. But seeing where his attitude is taking him, he is losing focus of the team spirit and just wanting to prove a point. No more a team player or motivator. I used like his aggression, n lust to win. But if players like Kaif have to sit out 'casue of him. Man not fair. He should have been large hearted enough to let Kaif play. Well Mr. Ganguly, there are a very few ppl in India who would want to support you, I was one of them. But if you do not do some thing @ ur attitude and game its time to retire with grace for you. Just try to be the team man you once were and you still got a chance.

Dalmiya & Ganguly Pvt. Ltd

Captain himself brakes code of conduct number of times and our shameless and hopeless Selection Comittee is watching this helplessly. Because if they dare to remove this arogant and useless non-playing(this is not the phrase used in tennis)captain not only from his post but from the team, which is required on urgent basis, puppets of Dalmiya in BCCI will kicked those responsible from selection committee and what will happen to them then! No meetings, no TA DA, no remuneration and what not. GOD TO SAVE INDIAN CRICKET FROM THE CLUTCHES OF DALMIYA & GANGULY PVT. LTD

Quit Advice to Ganguli
by Arun on Sep 16, 2005 11:45 AM

When half of the nation is asking Ganguli to quit, it would be no surprise if National Coach also feels the same.

Ganguly needs to go
by Melvin on Sep 16, 2005 11:14 AM

scoring a boring hundred against zimbabwe is not what Indian cricket needs. we need people who can play aggressive and attacking. greg chappel has got his priorities right. good job!!!!!!!!!! finally we have some professionals in indian cricket. What would be really sad is if we make gangluly god again for his 100. one things is for sure ganguly needs to be eased out.
