As of my knowledge no player struggled this much time fr form.He seems to learn alot ,though he's got long career in international cricket.If he continues so , some day all indians would say tht 'does he know cricket?' . He needs some(actually alot of) practise on his game .
This is the right time to save indian cricket team from teh bengal maffia-
Dalmia( who never have played cricket) and
Ganguly (what to say abt him.He is a shame to indian team).
and the india times newspaper which always supporing ganguly even when he consistently fails and raising ? abt dravid or sachin when they fails to scaore even a single match.Maybe this guys thinks that others should play in teh team while ganguly is there only to collect the cup and possing to media.
Should have been asked to quit long back.Everyone knows how he was surviving for the last couple of years.Surprising to find him coming up with this comment.Ganguly should not boast about his century against probably the weakest team amongst the test playing countries ( Almost equivalent to one of our premier college teams ).Compare his innings with that of Lakshman's in the same innings!!.When Lakshman could be sacked from the team time and again , why not Ganguly with a performance worse than him ? I must appreciate Greg Chappel's bold step and an excellent decision.It is high time to think of composition of Indian Team with a new Captain. Ganguly was cribbing about not being selected for Asian Cricket team. Thank God , he could not enjoy the immunity he was enjoying in the Indian Team.Greg should aim at the World Cup in 2007.
In my point of view being a senior player in the team and having so much of experience with him. he should have resolved this issue sitting along with that person whether it's greg or someone else. at the same time i feel for saurav too because he is one of the best players we have ever produced. it's the time which is not Favoring him but im sure he is gona bounce back, cawz he is a class player. what we all need to do is trust him. what i feel about this incident is he is an aggressive kind of person what might had made him to do so.
Its very insane ..to ask to step down ganguly..cos dravid failed in the recently concluded triangular series ..sachin did not perform well in the recent past when team required(on tough opponents and conditions.. thats when we require him to perform not scoring centuries on weak teams and flat tracks ) then why this noise only when ganguly failed..
we call laxman changed the nature and thinking of indian players in the kolkota test by scoring a big hundred..
why not ganguly not give the same hype when he scored 144 against australia in brisbans 2003 series.. how many times did india surrivied the on slaught abroad in the first test and went to loose the entire series
