Blame on the selectors too..
by shabir on Mar 30, 2005 11:31 PM

hi

i dont understand wht the selectors r doing they r also equally responsible for the india defeat and even backing out of form ganguly. If you think its ridiculoius and we as indians think tht talented people like kaif and yuvraj doesnt get a chance to perform . It s high time for those selectors to come out clean and take their good decision....... will it happen????

The message shows up the reality. Thats really a good one.....Sulabh.....coz you have numbers to justify your verdict.

Can just hope the captain gets the true message out of this....and learn something.

I 100% agree to you that sachin has become waste these days. He has slowed down so much that nowadays he cant win matches for us. Look at his last three innings.

242 against austrailia--- he batted so slow that the match ended in draw.
194 against pokistain--- ultimately dravid had to declare teh innings.
double century against bangladesh--- does not matter as they are still struggling in international crcicket.

Apart from this you cant find a single of his innings in last one year that added value to the team. These all shows that he is playing for himself not for the team.

I think this is high time we should think of getting young blood in the team like Kaif and Yuvraj at the expense of these selfish players.

don't worry sourav

hi everybody,
i just can't understand why the world is against
sourav ganguly. these sort of bad patches happen in
everyone's carrer. why no one uttered a single word
when sachin was the captain. under sachin's captaincy
both the team's performance and his batting were in
dire straits. at least sourav ganguly has transformed
the team from weak lambs to strong tigers who can win
test matches abroad, which was not the case before.
people like bishen singh bedi who are jealous of
sourav's achievement will continue to critisise him.
may GOD bless sourav ganguly!!!

I am surprised at your response. It looks as though some one told Sourav that this is his last sereis as a captain. he is hell bent on bringing the standards of the team to his pre captaincy levels demoralised and defeated? Is that what you want from team India?

Dada ki Dadagiri
by Dharmendra on Mar 30, 2005 04:02 PM

Even VVS Laxman is a class apart while batting.Lets
see how long Dada keeps himself in the team when every now and then Laxman,Mohd Kaif and Yuvraj are made to sit out based on two innings. It seems even John Wright can't have a say in the selection of final 11 going by Dadas Dadagiri.
Maybe Dada should try two spoonfuls of his Sona Chandi Chawanprash for some enligtenment.
