Lets not pressurize Saurav by comparison figures. He has the talent and will bounce back in the ODI's against Pakistan. He is a God of Off-side and God will not fail this time. There will be a rainfall of boundaries on the off-side.Best of Luck to Saurav and Team India.Be Positive and perform to your best.

Hi everybody ,,

Nobody can comment the performance of Sachin. He is a genius. Here somebody said that he is playing for his own records...how rubbish it is.........he is a very much team player......we cannot criticize him for his recent performances.....as he will come up at anytime.

We should learn how to give respect to genius.....

Ok .......All the Best Sachin.........May Gods blessing will always remain with you.......

Luv u sachin.........take care.........

with regards

your ever loving fan.

I agree Sachin WAS a legend. He will become a legend if he playes well otherwise he is just another additional baggage for the team. He needs to forget his 35th century and play his natural game which is definitely not defence. We have dravid for that.

Dada is a really good captain 'n' as well as batsman
by Avi on Mar 31, 2005 11:58 AM

hi everyone..
wat i wanna say is this that ganguly is now dese dayz is concentratin.. too much on his captaincy.. rather than doin 50-50.. i mean like he is a human being..n there is always ups n downs in every single players career n he is the most successful indian test captain..so i think wat u have to do is encourage him rather than makin bad comments on his battin..

Selection required with form not with statistics!!!!!
by Ajit on Mar 31, 2005 09:33 AM  | Hide replies

It would be great if the indian selectors do the way the australian counterparts do. "Select the team and then decide upon the captain". The captain must first realise that he is a batsman then a captain, bcos it is the batting that got him this far. Stop saying "Everyone has a bad patch". Patches are meant for a short span of time.

Agreed everyone has a lean patch. In this case the captain seems have patches for form not for out-of form

Yuvraj vs Kaif
by Cricket Fan on Mar 31, 2005 09:29 AM

I agree with most of what is written in the article except Yuvraj for Ganguly. Kaif is a lot better than Yuvraj and is more dependable. Kaif is definitely a man for crisis and has the potential to be the next Dravid. In the recently concluded Bangalore test with Pak, Kaif in place of Ganguly may have ensured a draw and hence the series for India. Yuvraj would have struggled as much as Ganguly on a slow track.

Good one!
by Nav on Mar 31, 2005 06:50 AM

Hey u guys...I really pity u all including the writer.
How many times have people criticised Saurav? All criticisms mean nothing to him or the BCCI...They'll continue with his captaincy no matter what. Indian cricket has gone helter skelter. First of all there's not a good management to check players' performances. How's that players like Saurav,VVS Laxman, Sachin etc...get away with anything they do? Pls dont waste your precious time discussing these things...Many people have already invested ample time discussing this crap now and then. But to no avail. Just forget about Indian cricket and kindly encourage somebody like Sania Mirza who's the one to watch out for...She has the potential to make it big in the world of Tennis. Pls pls pls...lemme re iterate that the BCCI and the players sit at the top level churning crores and here we, the poor lot waster our time and eventually money (for betting on so called players) which doesn't make any sense to anybody. Just chill out and forget cricket... Just dont even bother anymore...thats my humble suggestion.

be excllent not just good
by wency lopez on Mar 31, 2005 05:54 AM

i understand what the people of india must be going through after loss.but one point i would like to make is that its only after a loss we indians start thinking like this. mr wright & our great dada must have done good in their respective positions, but the fact is that we have had the best of plaers indians have ever seen in the same playing team.we have be very content with what little good we have being doing,a draw ,a win ,a loss & again a draw in last 4 series.it high time the selecters need to think we can get better coach & captian who can guid the talanted indian team a possiation where they deserve to be.
