its pathetic to watch the mighty Tendulkar looking bewildered at ordinary bowlers gleefully rejoicing at getting his wicket. Why not take a graceful retirement? As the old wise saying goes better to do it when people ask "WHY" rather than "WHY NOT"
Does anyone have Sachin's email ID? Because I think someone should send this article to him! The other day on TV i saw Geoffrey Boycott say something about making Cricket more entertaining...... My mind went back to the time when Tendulkar was crickets best entertainment package.

My Friend, you like to see Tendulkar always making runs and entertaining you. I also like that way. But he has played enough and done more than any other player for the team and the country. I agree with one of the viewer in comparing Tendulkar with Amitabh Bachhan.
But the shocking similarity is that :
In next 3 years, every tom dick and harry in Film industry would boast having done a film with Amitabh the way he is going about signing movies without being worried of the quality of films or his own class.
Similarly, in next 3 years every average bolwer like Ray Price, Collins, Giles or Bichel would have a price wicket of Tendulkar in his kitty, the way the little genius is respecting even the below average bolwing attacks !!!!!

Ashish has perfectly describes how stars like B & sachin fade away within a period of time. Once upon a time, B was so aloof from people, media and advertisment, now he is splashed in every corner of the country, why obviously for money he gets. Hence he is in a signing spree for any movie he is been asked to stamp. Similarly, Sachin's eagerness to create records had made him to be watchful about his batting. Very cautious till the end. No risks taken even if giles, price or whatever below average bowlers bowl. Once upon a time he was an entertainer, now the people had made sehwag who has no talent just because he looks like sachin their hero. In short we want entertainment..........
I agree to the intelligent author bcoz the game what Mr Tendulkar is not wht we expect n we would appreciate if gets out with 100% strike rate without making much use of his talent rather making 100 odd runs with strike rate of 50.
