Shame Shame - Indian Sports Officials
by Karan Jetly on Nov 01, 2004 09:40 PM

1) Aussie's game isnt great. They just stick to the basics and wait for the opponents to make mistakes. And with India as opponents they have a party
2) To be successful at any task, you need not be great. Just doing the basics right will bring success
3) Indian sports officials dont know what basics are.
4) Sports is an industry and needs to be managed as other corporate are. That is why Shame shame Indian Sports Officials and not Sportsmen
5) Even successful companies are sometimes marred by problems. But good managers resolve the problem permanently. That is why the company carries on with its success story
6) Indian Sports needs good managers
7) Cricket is one of the sports; so BCCI should be in the control of SAI. This way, the money that Cricket brings can be used for other sports
8) There sud be detailed plan/training/targets/budget prepared for every Sport/team/sportsperson. The team shouldnt be of playing 11, rather 22, each getting some some games in an year
9) Salaries should be given on the basis of performance in past year. Poor performers sud be penalized
10) Media should know each any every detail, so that every Indian knows what their heroes are doing!

India's "greats" are no duds. They know their game very well. No matter what the Aussies say of their preparation and plans. They are all just smokescreens. The real truth is the Series was FIXED.
The plan for the series was that India would win the Chennai test (which the Divine power intervened and denied) because HE knew it all along the plans hatched by the two teams. The treue scenario is:All the current Aussie players would be retired by the time of the next meet in 2010. Warne and Gilchrist disguised their bribe in the form of donations to charity in India. They wanted a series win India in return. Investigate from here on..

Parthiv Patel a man with courage
by samarth on Oct 31, 2004 11:11 PM

I dont think Parthiv's performance is the reason behind losing the match. The matches were lost due to our batsmen had not performed well.
I condame the removal of Parthiv from the list because he was one of few batsmen who have played against Ausie attack in this series when our real batsmen failed to get two digit score.
I am surprised that why the team management had not removed Laxman from the list who had not even scored above 25 runs since last three matches?

Indian cricket Remedy

It is high time that there should be a New rule by which the Players CANNOT ENDORSE PRODUCTS till the time they are in the National team, as the players are in to EASY Money and have become Complacent as they consider Match Fees as only POCKET Money.
Secondly, even if a Top Order Player is OUT OF FORM, he should not be continuosly be given ENDLESS Chances as he is BOUND TO Score at Least Once in TEN Chances against a Weaker Team and thereby Again Glues his place in the Team.
Indai has enough of Young Talented Players in the side who are rearing to have a GO and the SENIOR Players should Volatarily OPT out in the Interest of the Country, as they can then continue in their pursuit of Product Endorsements which in any case was their TOP PRIORITY

indian cricket-a crude joke

The indian cricket team needs a thorough professionals to the core for the patronage the country gives to the game as a whole. We are expected to produce jems of the game not the jockers just struggling to find the touch of play and the rithim, everytime and in every match. We are capable of beating any team in the world anytime and we never knew when and where.Consistancy should be the password atleast from now on.
