Total BS

This is a conspiracy theory that not only casts aspersions on cricketers and sponsors, but also probably makes the writer liable for a defamation suit. Also, it negates the performances of individuals who really work hard. Try bowling two overs at pace and see what I mean. I think the writer is trying to pull down a successful effort by our team and that is so typical of us Indians. Whenever someone is successful or earning more money than us, they automatically become bad. Avi, I don't know what you are smoking these days, but it is making you hallucinate.

In my opinion india should improve the batting.
The openers should do well & I am keen to see
the century of saurav,it became long time.
The fielding should be improved.

Avinash,
Please tell about yourself, do you work too much just because you are addicted to whatever you do ? Are you taking care of your familly, having good sleep ? I have stopped to try making any sense of the article because of lack of above info. Now the bouncer to Ashis - Can you please write few lines on what you did you understand from the article ?

Ridiculous
by Lim Gopinath on Jul 30, 2004 12:56 PM

Sir,
After going through your article what I feel is just pitty. Pitty for you. What you have done is pure stereotyping. I am not saying there is no such thing as betting and match fixing. But reading your article it just gives the feeling that you are comparing cricket with WWF where everything is done according to scripts. I am not a good player of cricket, but I have played some, if its that easy to play cricket based on a script, well all I can say is Kudos to all the cricketers...bowlers bowling yorkers at 100 miles/hr and batsmen acting as if they are hitting it 6, players getting hurt (acting) while fielding..well its a bit too much for me.
:) Ha Ha.
