Matrix of Life
by Manav on Jul 31, 2004 01:21 PM

Dear Mr. Sirnivas
U seems to be one lost person who want to say something but donno wat. U are winging abt life or critisizing cricket or abusing all Pvt companies or crying abt the wat is happening in this world. Make ur mind clear abt the issue u wanna discuss. Regarding the matrix I think the life itself is a Matrix. But then I you have guts to change the path go and do it rather then wingin abt wats going around and crying tat you can't make it big. Give ur best shot and if u can't do tat then atleast cry in the corner of your room.

Just enjoy the game
by Amar George on Jul 31, 2004 11:47 AM

Well it is about time some readers decided to just enjoy the game. This is not the "Truman Show".

It is a simple game of cricket. If you have the time to associate every dismisal and every boundary with a corporate then my frind it is time you start following some other sport. Because if you are not enjoying watching cricket it does not give u the right to spoil it for us.

The matrix confusion
by Pradeep on Jul 31, 2004 07:11 AM

It's better not to watch movie Matrix and cricket at the same time..End of it matrix is never confusing for it's never clear..But cricket seems to have been seen in confused light..

Although i am not the one who says there is no match fixing on at the moment but i believe things can not be fixed to the extent of being discussed...

From audience perspective what they look for is an entertaining game..Perhaps market looks at it as their target..What's wrong as far as we get what we want...

Matrix Reloaded....continued
by Santosh K Makhani on Jul 31, 2004 04:33 AM

Consider yourself as a brand and think about the readership share if you are to be a decent critic or pundit of the game and for God sake Let it be a game which millions enjoy even if they are part of the matrix because this matrix aint harming anybodyit gives us some moments to cherish and be proud of, although India winning Pakistan series did not help BJP in being re-elected.

Matrix Reloaded
by Santosh K Makhani on Jul 31, 2004 04:31 AM

India beat Sri Lanka in the Indian Oil Asia Cup, Entered. Inputted. Controlled. Systemized. Into the Matrix. The Cash Cow or the biggest market has to be pleased to be milked more or you can also support the cause of bringing back life to cricket in an island country (where cricket seems to be losing ground) which is small in area but is an open market for the big corporate guns if vice versa happens.

It is pathetic to some times see good talent which has sharp mind and excellent skills being wasted in assessing the system working behind matrix of cricket (if at all there is one!). Use of language should be used to be a critic or other positive purposes, but it is very painful to see a well written article to be supported by foolish facts.

The matrix exists everywhere but the effect is negligible when the characters portrayed as running the matrix are unknown or unaffected by its existence. The best use of talent is to uncover the truth beyond matrix where it exists in its evil.

Pathan with the pan SAARCian appeal is going to bowl an out swinger in the third ball of first over which Sanath Jaysuria is going to nick to Rahul Dravid aint happening.

Nice Story
by Srinivas Varanasi on Jul 31, 2004 03:06 AM

It is a nice story, and I suggest the author to contact a Bollywood director to make a film out of it. I am strongly contrasting the authors speculations and views about the game of cricket. It is interesting to see an intellectual coming up and writing a bed time story out of millions of spectators admiring the game. If the author is interested in concentrating on other problems of the country, he is most welcome to do so, and he can stop sprinkling cold water on issues he is not interested. It is a shame on every Indian, if the authors speculations are identified to be truthful and it was very unfortunate to hear about the matches that were fixed in the past. But the spectator made his intentions clear that the game of cricket will be alive in the country of India, as he believes that there are sincere leaders and patriots involving in the game. This article is so satiric on cricket lovers, and if the articles and thoughts like this are not strongly protested, it could be a strong discouragement to the games and sports in the country. I strongly suggest the author to file a case if he has evidence, but not to throw cold water on people who are admiring the amazing talent of their favorite cricketers, who are representing a great nation.
