All BJP supporter accuse that congress dint do country progress. all u people can u see the difference between india of 1950 and india of 2010? If BJP would have ruled us for all these years india would have been further divided in pieces based on religious.

Probably BJP would have made India more stronger less corruption, more employment. No vote bank politics. Politics on growth only. Congress taken India to a failed nation with loopholes in law to protect the culprit. Poor judiciary which could not deliver verdict during one's lifetime. These are the greatest achievements of Congress.

Are you living in India? Is it that simple to undo all the mistakes of Cong over 5 years?
BJP infact given great government when they were ruling. They are the first govt to rule with large number of parties and were succesful in building various infrastructure projects. India's infrastructure started to develop only during BJP Govt. No one can deny that.

If yes, that shows the power of a 4 year governance equals 52 years and the power of a 28 year old party equals 125 year old party's!!

Herry BJP changed a lot for the nation. Like nuclar test, dual citizenship which got lot od money to india and good roads new trains list goes on. Cong from 1950 to 2010 has only incresed the number scams.

Why do you always talk from your rear end? From where does Advani come into the picture here? Secondly, BJP and co educated the voters that there should also be an opposition party unlike the unilateral power center of dynasty politics!! Today, even if Congress stands on its 3 legs, it will never come back to power as a single largest party!! And if there is a one-to-one election between just Congress and BJP, BJP will win hands down!! (Not refering to the alliances of course!)

Good keep it up for BJP. But bjp leaders are doing something different further weakening the party.
The emergency was the best period in Independent India. All government offices were working without any bribe. Corruption was nil. The working time was maintained. Even the local trains in Mumbai were running on time and the prices were kept under control. The moment Janata Party took over the reins, prices started sky rocketing and everything went back to its old way.

I think democracy offlate has been extremely overvalued. It is being used as a facade to carry on corruption. I wish we had another era of lets say Nationalist Movt, to ensure the govt machinery is reminded of their job on hand unequivocally and without the fear or compulsions of vote bank and coalition politics..

The corruption after Emergency went on to break all the records that were prevalent before Emergency!! As long as emergency was there, there were no strikes but there were massive protests for knocking off Indira which was worser than the strikes or corruption!! Aftermath of the emergency, lesser said the better!!

Indira Khan declared Emergency to save herself...she was interested to preserve the Dynasty Rule as her dad Animal Nehru wanted and told to Kamraj before death. Well Indira later paid her price...so did her son Robert Khan (aka Rajiv Gandhi). NoProgress Party never think of desis or the Country, just for Votes only. They will not rest untill India gets fractured into Multiple Countries, as they learnt all these Dirty Politics from British to divide and rule India very successfully.

His dad was a muslim and mom was a parsi. Obviously, anyone who marries a muslim automatically becomes a muslim and not vice versa!!

me too...India is really in a very bad shape with all politicians trying to separate people with caste based feelings.
Indira was a democrat surely -- the emergency she imposed was due to the misplaced advice of her advisers .We all know she was initially not in favour of it . And was it not her who ordered the elections though it involved her defeat ? The times were different then , there was what appeared to be political chaos whether right wing jan sangh which was exacebrating the communal feelings or jp mpvement with its satyagrah / andoolans etc . On top of it for her to be unseated from her lok sabha seat due to trivial adminsrtative reason viz use of official helicopters for canvassing ( she was the pm did she not have this privelge?) was the proverbial straw which broke the camels back There was certainly a lot of benefits for the common man under emergency -- trains ran on time , labor strike were less , corruption was minimal . Certainly for the common man things were better . If only her sons enthusaism for enforced family planning was not there , maybe the next polls would have shown better results for her . She lost the elections which was a most negative vote for her policy of family planning as we all know --her successors in office were worse Emergency showed the usefulness of the role of a free press --the empress of india even with all intelligience authoriies at her command could not divine the popular feeling of the masses , If only her sons misplaced enthusiasm for family planning was less -- who knows what indias direction would have been.
