well bagwan would have been a milestone at the box office.the moview was brilliant after intermission.the movie before interval was a average.it was just like an ordinary typical t.v soaps like kuki saas..etc.i mean it was lacking the punch of chopras.the star cast was also not good.apart from 1 or 2 songs music was also not appealing.the overdose romance of amitabh and hama jee was also untolerable.
i mean the movie was loosing its flow.a lot of mistakes r there in the movie otherwas it would be a different story.
the present genaration is necessarily needing these type of movie.but one thing the script writer forgate that one cannot teach the present generation with lectures and philosophy.u have to make ur audians feel by experiencing them the emotions of movie.
the only positive point of this movie is the emotional performance of big-b in the cilmax of movie.
i was very much dissapointed after seeing a brilliant starting song.the director really can not had a hold on the entire flow of movie.
amitabhz xtraordinarily cool..hema maliniz pretty good too...what stunning lookz even @ her age...! salman khanz as handsome as ever..whatta stud!!! i say a must watch movie iz what it iz! just way to coooool!!!
Its a copy of Marathi old movie of 60's/70's named 'Oon Paaus' by Raja Gosavi. Also, another movie 80's/90's named 'Tu Tithe Me' played by Mohan Joshi and Suhas Joshi.

Amitabh bacchan a& hema malini they both acted superly in the movie and they deserve award for best actor & actress of 2003 for the bagbaan this millinium best movie i ever saw it's a fantastic movie over all they have romance, tragede .... I LOVE THIS VERY MUCH
Just returned after seeing Baghban with my wife. We enjoyed seing it and feeling it to the core of our hearts. After a very long time a movie worth watching.
