yes, now at least the referees will not dare to do so with others.sportsmanship should be shown with the people who believe in sports. can we believe that these referees behaved in a manner which was just. why those people who are talking so much about sportsmanship, do not question them , about their partial behavior.

A sports person spends several thousand hours of practice to reach a stage where she/ he feels confident of winning a medal and Sarits too has done it.
If someone robbed her chance, whether it is accidental or deliberate hardly matters. The fact remains that she felt deprived and broke down. She is not the first in sports history.
For us she is our pride and we are with her and we too feel that bad judgement has deprived a Gold medal to India and not only Sarita.

True. From Now onwards the shameless Koreans would dare to do these type of cheap dirty tricks. Slap on their faces.
she did it right otherwise who in the world would have known what happened. it was bad on part of refrees... i saw it live on tv. she was dominant n scoring throughout......

Ok giveanid. Maybe you're right.
But I challenge you to spell out an alternative "script" of how she should have acted or spoken. But mind you, friend:
(1) Your alternative "script" should not receive a single criticism on this message-board. No one on this message-board should be able to find fault with it.
(2) Your alternative "script" should be equally effective, in grabbing international attention, of authorities and sports followers alike.
My point is this:
___People who choose to nit-pick on the lesser aspects, and ignore the larger issues will always find a nice trivial issue to nit-pick on_____
The larger issues here are:
A blatant crime was committed in broad daylight / floodlight on International Television, in an international sporting event second only to Olympics.
The crime was committed by the very people who every boxer trusts blindly when he or she steps into the ring, so it was a betrayal of that trust.
The crime was committed by people who enjoy immunity, so it was an abuse of that immunity.
The crime defeated the very purpose of conducting that match, so it was an act against the sport itself, by people who are supposed to honor the sport and promote it.
The nit-picking here, is to harp on the part played by Park Jina the Korean, in Sarita's expression on the podium.
I am proud that she did not accept anything less than what she deserved. Sad that she did not get the support from Indian officials. Why can we not question the decisions of referee when it is clear that they were injust.
If you see the overall background of Ms.sarita devi, her sacrifices and commitment to the game, South Koreans should have got ashamed & showed humanity in not denying her the rightfull opportunity and should have given her the due. A Respectful person who have persevered somuch would feel the same & even greater amount of pain. An sportsman/woman would understand another sportsman/woman....
