Why are u ppl writing for lack of sportsmanship of Sarita , why not u asking question " DID INDIAN OFFICIALS DO THE RIGHT THING ???" I think Sarita Devi did the right thing & we as an Indians support her the fullest. & its a shame on u ppl for framing such question about her sportsmanship .

I Strongly support Sarita. The Management should be taken to Task. They could not manage 500$ to lodge a complaint, what kind of these people are?Sarita will get Justice.

Sarita had done the right

It is nature that some one shows emotional behaviour when she feels annoyed because of somebody's indescent manner. Is it wrong that the audience or the viewers are more expereinced than the judges. The judges gave the points without watching the bout while all others were expecting the result from the bout.

Organisers were slapped...very good!!!!
by sri aytha on Oct 02, 2014 08:47 PM

She did the right thing... else organizers can go unchallenged and go with biased decisions...she set a good example... she must have worked hard and also performed well .. the difference in performance was not marginal to claim that she did not show sportsmanship... when she was evidently robbed of the medal after such a good performance, she had all rights to do what she did..

I agree with Saritais decision
by Sumith Thomas on Oct 02, 2014 08:41 PM

In my view she did only what her heart said, I'm with her decision. Its ironic that when such an incident happens, the Indian officials didn't complaint about that. Its a shame for us all, these Indian officials didn't stood by her side, its an Himalayan blunder our officials did. Such a GOOD FOR NOTHING fellows.

Why there are talks about she is wrong.. She is human being.. she got injustice. She has every right to protest and show her resent. But it is more hurting that until this time no Sports body authorities has protested against the partisan judges. These sports authorities (must be politician)be kicked out of India when they arrive in India.Let them stay in Korea !!!

Did Boxer Sarita really show lack of sportsmanship?
by B V Dhimate on Oct 02, 2014 08:14 PM

Why it is necessary to express a gesture of sportsmanship for Indian sportsman only? This happened in Cricket many times. They bear a lot. Hence it was popped out in Australia when Mr Gavasker was set out to leave the field with Mr Kirmani. Indians expressed gesture of Sportsmanship in cricket like GR Viswanth in case of BOB taylor/MSD in case of Ian Belly etc. Can some show any case for Indian crickter? There is nothing wrong she did in expressing herself as after all she is human being. Do agree Sportsmanship is higher attire than anything in sports but one have right to express injustice.

Boxer Sarita

Extreme Injustice was done to her and our officials were just enjoying the Act. Her actions were admirable and ASIAD AUthorities must ensure that such gross injustice is not done to anyone. To contemplate any disciplinary action against Sarit will be a further injustice to her.

So Called Sportsmanship
by Ravindra Parasnis on Oct 02, 2014 08:13 PM

Where was the sportsmanship when the judges so blatantly made her lose the bout she had so decisively won ? Where is the sportsmanship when the officials show no sympathy for her but in stead, are bent upon punishing her. Is she not human and entitled to utter feelings of hurt at being cheated ? Shame on the organizers and the officials including Indian Officials.
