We NATIONAL DEMOCRATS already proposed that INDIA needs to create five Olympic Training centers along the lines of IITS - one for each region, which hosts its own Grueling annual Joint Physical Entrance Exam where millions of Indians can apply but a few thousand are selected. All Olympic sports will be practiced and honed to perfection at these centers.
In the Northern Olympic Training Center near Delhi, we need to create an Olympic Hall of Fame where the eternal Flame of Indian sports is always lit - Like the Amar Jawan Jyoti
The Hall of Fame should be a huge rotunda, where we illustrate all medal winning Olympians past and present along with their contribution and training, and also artifacts like jackets, turbans, ties and medals worn by these former Olympians and also hockey sticks, Racqeuts, Boxing Gloves, Bows, Rifles etc used by them to win medals.
Public Schools in the region should take their students on school excursions to these centers and Olympic Hall of Fame to inculcate the Olympic and Sporting spirit in them. They need to see the achievements of past athletes and how current athletes train and keep themselves physically fit.
We NATIONAL DEMOCRATS have huge plans for boosting INDIAN athletic and sporting ability on the international stage so that Indians stand on the victory podium more often and our flag flies high at the Olympics when ever they are held.

If you plan to create 5 olympic training centres on the lines of IITs, don't be surprised if those olympians turn out to be as junk as the IITians but demanding hefty payCheques for their worthless performance!!

We will see, but there is one condition that these people who get into IOTCs need to fulfill, They should not and cannot be allowed to emigrate to other countries.
If we treat our athletes well, they will stay with us.

It also proves the top 5/6 wrestlers have the same outstanding ability ... and Sushil is right up there ... WELL DONE, SUSHIL!!
Although Sushil Kumar could win only silver medal at London Olympics, he is predestined to return as the Golden Olympian of India, having won two Olympic medals in successive Olympics - the first to do so - a rare distinction of Indian Olympic medal twice. His final dual at London Olympics must have been watched by million Indian hearts with unusual prayers for his win. The dual can be compared to an India-Pak cricket final. The countrymen will remember him as one of the greatest Olympian the country has ever produced. His thumping victory also underscores the place of India in the world of wrestling other sports event being shooting. The sports authorities must accord priority to this oldest Indian sport championed by mythological mighty Bhīma. The highest ever Olympics medal tally of India and the large number of Indian Olympians reaching quarter finals and semi finals are strong positive signs for the country’s sports. Nevertheless, what is to be noted is that we are not good at team events, but in Individual events. Let the individual spirit blossom fully in the next Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016. The government may fashion its game-plan accordingly to groom and nurture the individual talents and the sports officials.
