Back 2 back Olympic medals is definately special but i do wish that the fact that he was unwell should not have been disclosed, when it mattered he came second best, but there will be other matches to be won in future and i am sure he will.

Hey Nico, instead of ranting, go get get some education. India has got no sporting culture unlike China or USA. With the pathetic facilites, corrupt officials, apathetic bureaucrats and politicians, be happy that India got 6 medals.
Our sportspersons fought againsts all odds to win these medals, even though they may seem small.

Do you know about the regimented enforced system in China ... any infant showing promise at an early age is taken away by the authorities and put through a punishing regime of training, on which they or their parents have no say! No wonder, P.R. of China has a factory line producing champions! Such a system will not work in liberal free democracies of USA, UK and India. Think about it, will you, from "miserable India" allow that to happen to your child?

I see your new excuses.ok,India is a democracy like UK,USA. Then, where is gold medals which USA and UK have? India has too many people like who always find so many excuses. This makes India like a joke in the world. I'm in Canada. I once visited China. where are you? you are living the deep well from which you can only see a little sky. you think that is the whole sky.

so the games are over. India will return with 2 silvers and 4 bronzes. Considering the quality we had this time round this is a miserable performance. Partly because some of the big guns failed and partly because of bad luck India's medals tally reads a miserable 0-2-4. Hope this does not discourage the young Indians from taking up sports. I believe most of India's sports are going in the right direction and with some luck and the right attitude India can win 15 to 20 medals in the next Olympics with atleast 4 to 5 golds. Congrats to all the medal winners
