The proposal to give Bharat Ratna to sports person is quite appreciable.But why only Tendulkar's name? Other world champions won't sweat for the country?
Before giving Bharat Ratna to Sachin we should think about Dhyanchand, Milkha Singh, P.t.Usha, Leander Peas, Mahesh Bhupati,Vishwnath Anand, Kapil Dev,Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra, why not these people should get Bharat Ratna before Sachin..we should bias towards all these great.

Arey.......they are all world class no doubt.....Dhyan chand not idea...but Reg others, Milkha singh great no doubt could not win an olympic gold.....same with P.T.usha, Vish anand yes but does not stay in India at all....Peas and Bhupathi mixed great but ego in between created problem for their career. Kapil is world class but still less than sachin. Bindra won gold....except tht no other contribution from him.....If u talk abt money all got fame and money as per what they did....not that only sachin got money. Sachin is great for performing with so much expectations billon people...i said only billon coz others envy of him

Tendulkar is the best cricketer of modern era but Dhyan Chand is incomparable to any sportsperson this country ever produced. Although I did not see his game, seeing his magical record in world Hockey and unparalleled contribution to Indian Hockey, he deserves the title first.
Dhyan Chand is the greatest sportsman India has produced and is universally accepted as the best hockey player of all time. Milkha Singh is a fool , look at the way he speaks.. he thinks he will also get Bharat Ratna. At the international level, he was only an ordinary athlete. And cricket might be only played in a few countries but it is still the 2nd most popular sport in the world
