cos that way they can have something for the foreign reporters to write about... They will write something abt this poor dog and to appease them, the Indian Govt will kill a thousand dogs all around Delhi.

You really have to get out into the world and learn more. People in other countries value dogs a lot more than they do in India. If Indian authorities were to kill a thousand dogs, people will for sure boycott the games, no doubt about that!!!

Hello NG and Sports, it is typical of Rediff to put up such a photo which just shows its empty brain. Who knows that the photo is of some other place in Delhi and not near the Village. After all the clean up has been done and the area sanitised. Time Rediff puts up a team of right thinking people who can think of proper headlines and proper snaps as well
Media and Mani Shankar Iyer have done great disservice to the Nation by Choosing to high light our shot comings at a in apprpriate time.It appears that both have an ulterior motive or some scores to settle with the people in place. It is high to time you change your priorties and think of ways and means to show the World that are a good Host,a great sporting Nation and can certianly, rise to the occasion and any challange. sudhir Mehra,A sports Lover

Thats the problem with India. Personal preferences and differences are important for them rather than National Pride..!! Some sections in India are still against CWG. They have a million reasons for that and lets say all are valid. Now nothing can be done. India is hosting it... No amt of protest is going to change that fact. So why not put the problems aside and work together to keep the National Pride alive and make India look beautiful and the game a success??
70% of the rumours are spread by these private groups and Indian media... What could be a proud event for the country turned out to be a mess.. and I dont think anythng is going to change the perception!!
India shall always have a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s who tarnish the image of the country and they come in different forms - politicians, educated activists etc...!!

A wonderful sum up. It was exposed that there was lack of coordination between agencies in the upkeep of the Village. Each kept blaming the other, DDA washed its hands off when it was in charge telling that it was India Tourism board's responsibility to look into it which in turn said it was OC responsibility to do so. Top of it we have the village builder, a Gulf based co called Emaar MGF failing to do its part of work. What a shame they have brought upon when it could have been avoided with proper thinking. Then we have useless people like Kalmadi, MS Gill (this chap was giving a PP presentation in today's meet when the PM cut him short and ticked him off), Joker Jaipal Reddy and co.

Mani Shankar is a fake Tamil, a fake IAS, a fake minister, a fake person and most certainly a non team player, and a commie to boot. I wonder why he is still India - thats right, no one else wants him...
Because of greedy Indian Politicians, India's name spoiled and ashmed to think about India's inefficiency for conducting any internationalevent..Shame...
