I think more than other countries it seems Indians want CWG to fail. See the above poster. Why this on front page. Just to show nothing is working. I know Kalmadi and Co sold their soul to earn money in the preparations and they should be punished. What about media which is exagarating.. Can anyone imagine this can happen in China or Ausis.. in wrong direction.polititains ,media ,people huuuuuuh.. Mera bharat mahan ..

Thats the problem with India. Personal preferences and differences are important for them rather than National Pride..!! Some sections in India are still against CWG. They have a million reasons for that and lets say all are valid. Now nothing can be done. India is hosting it... No amt of protest is going to change that fact. So why not put the problems aside and work together to keep the National Pride alive and make India look beautiful and the game a success??

Hello - please get back to reality - and do not live in denial land.
Fact - This work is still going on (bad infrastructure) and should have been done a year ago.
Fact - Money got stolen in truckloads by people in power
Fact - Facilties are substandard and BARELY acceptable quality.
You can personally write all the newsarticles if you want - Self respecting foreign athletes will not want your hospitality if you do not care enough about them to give them basic human necessities, a clean bed, a clean toilet, and clean surroundings.

Hello Mr. Wiseman - Most of this money was not used to buy the basic necessities, but STOLEN by the so called organizers.
This is a national shame and everyone will accept this.The AUSSIES are enjoying the failure of India due to its rivaliry growing for cricket.So much so high has been talked for CWG.
The Kalmadi and DIXIT has made all the nation ashamed. Kalmadi is from Maharastra. Has this been done from any Bihari,Jharkhandi,ORRIYA or from MP,Bengal the people must be going wild on the net.
Why not Marathi is shouting shame for another Marathi(KALMADI)??

Tell us how China has been preparing for Asiad coming up during November this year, just one month after CWGs. It will be a very interesting reading, indeed.

there were political protests allover and shortcomings reported in the construction of main stadium reported in beijing just before olypics.But they were never highlighted or reported unlike our frenzy irresponsible press
While foreign participants have been taken due care at arrivals,those Indian partcipents are hardly given any attention. Basic shortcoming is absence of CHARACTER in India's official-doom.
