PM slams the nation
by Guest on Sep 24, 2010 10:34 PM

The Pm of India who is busy visiting the foreign countries is now worried about CWG. Oh its 9 days left only and he wake up and told his officials to make the games a success. Its a shame and he should resign. Why he was sleeping on CWG? Hes not worried about India's Pride but more worried about relations with other countries. I think the public will sack him and his govt. in next election if the games are not a success. So he should either go mad for the games in last 9 days or be ready to go home i.e. his own home.

Around 100 stray dogs have been rounded up from the Commonwealth Games Village and other Games venues by the capital's civic authority in coordination with an NGO, an official said on Friday.

The stray dogs were having a free run of the Village and other areas, raising concerns among participating countries. They were rounded up by the the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and Friendicoes SECA (Society for the Eradication of Cruelty to Animals) and temporarily relocated to a dog sterilization centre at Ghazipur. Similar drives are being carried out in all the 17 Games venues.

Gautam Barat, co-founder Friendicoes, which has volunteered for the cause with MCD, told IANS: "The rounded up stray dogs will be released in the same venue after the Games are over. Till then they will be kept in the Ghazipur sterilization centre."

Following complaints that dogs were straying into the Games Village complex, the drive was carried out by the civic body's veterinary department since Thursday. Two ambulances with six dog catchers are going around the venue to round up the dogs.

"The task was voluntarily taken up by Friendicoes. As an animal welfare organisation, we want to ensure that captured dogs are not harmed in the name of the Games. They will be maintained in a proper manner till the Games are over," Barat added.

Once taken to the Ghazipur sterilization centre, each dog will be given a token with details of the area from wh

Rajendra Goel
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
by Rajendra Goel on Sep 24, 2010 10:27 PM

Our PM MMS is called an honest man but I do'nt think so. All along his tenure as a Rubber Stamp PM, he was and is openely supporting the most corrupt ministers in his cabinet. If he thinks that inspite of being honest, he has to support such crooks, he should resign. Since he has not done so and is sticking to chair, his intentions becomes doubtful.

The Analysis
by Gopi Menon on Sep 24, 2010 10:23 PM

Just Five Hundred People in INDIA are Annually making corruption driven Illegal Money equal to the GDP.
At the next levlel there are 5000 making the same amount.
Next level there are APPROXIMATELY 500,000 people to rob the public by the same GDP amount annually, through Corruption .
And,believe this, another five crore are doing petty corruption annually equaling the amount of INDIA's GDP.

If INDIA's GDP is taken as 3.5 trillion dollars, the total Corruption money at all five levels is equal to 15 trillion dollars ANNUALLY,WHICH IS LARGER THAN THE US ECONOMY.Guess where we could have taken our poor country with all this money !

Arise ! Awake ! Root out Corruption !

Things to do before organising a sports event
by Athar Masoodi on Sep 24, 2010 10:23 PM  | Hide replies

My dear countrymen,
Orgnaising a mega event like CWG is a matter of pride for our nation but what have the government done to check the contamination in food items that common people are eating? How can you expect the people to perform and compete with international players while their daily eatables are contaminated?
I urge the health ministry to look into this matter as it is a matter of grave concern.
