Formal opening of CWG-2010 which was already on.....
by Common Man on Oct 03, 2010 10:17 PM

The CWG-2010 officially opened tonight, though some people have been playing games (game of passing-the-buck !) with CWG for quite sometime. Let's hope the govt will enquire into the pre-games mess, and we get to enjoy the actual Games over the next 12 days. Good luck to all the Indian sportsmen taking part !!

Any chances of this being the best ever ceremony?
by Rajan S on Oct 03, 2010 10:16 PM  | Hide replies

Hope, after the conclusion of this opening ceremony, all other countries will rate it as the best ever, even better than the beijing olympics. Am I being too optimistic? Are there any chances for that?

China has set the bar high during the Olympics ceremony but even then this was a nice opening ceremony. Quite colorful and energetic.

No ceremonies will be that bad. We only try to see, whether it is the best or close to the best. Hope, after the conclusion of the opening ceremony, all other countries will rate it as the best ever, even better than the beijing olympics. Am I being too optimistic? Are there any chances for that?
