Why blame Govt/IHF
by Pankaj Singh on Jan 11, 2010 11:55 AM

Why to blame Govt. or IHF ? We Indians are mad behind cricket and totally ignore all other sports so do the Govt. The govt. dose the thing majority people want. Ask yourself, how many times you watched and enjoyed hockey match ? or can you name all Indian hockey team members ?

BCCI should rush fund
by GAUTAM BARDOLOI on Jan 11, 2010 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI is rich with the money it gets from Indian people and Indian companies.Hockey is our national game. Therefore ,I suggest BCCI should come forward and pay some money to resolve the matter, which will be negligible compared to their size of income.
Players of the national game are in pathetic condition,it is shame for the nation.Hockey players are equally respectable like Cricketers(although cricket is not even an olympic game).
At the same time, these inefficient hockey board officials should be outright sacked.I suggest Lalit Modi be given the charge of Hockey federation as well.He has the magic touch and can change its fortune as well.

Make Mattoo and Narinder Batra fast for full day & play hocke
by Animesh Naskar on Jan 11, 2010 11:41 AM

This is stupidity. These international hockey players are not meant for charity matches for Indian Hockey federation. They need to survive and feed their families. No pay no work.
