Our superfluous love of Cricket is responsible for such incidences. Cricketers do not bother for the money from board since they earn much-much more from modeling in advertisements.

It's like saying let's shut down movie theatres, stop production of all consumer products, electronics etc until poverty is alleviated. You are nuts.
It seems that these officials have no respect for the pride of country?They should be summarily dismissed & a new body that can manage the affairs of national games be constituted.
back Indian Hockey team was made to sleep in Railway Coach in rail yard as our so called Association had not booked hotel for them, and the whole team was paid 50,000 after winng d tournament. They r doing right thing.
Kust 25000/- for whole tourament...even a beggar on streets of mumbai earns that in one month. Shame on congress govt.......cricketers are getting 1 lakh of each match and BCCI in thousands of crores and still BCCI does not pay tax

The govt is not paying the cricketers. BCCI is paying them. It is responsibility of Hockey India to pay the players and look after the game in the country. What has BCCI to do with revolt of Hockey players?
