You have not spelt Nehwal's name correctly I presume. It must be Saina. She is definitely hundred times better than Mirza. It is unfortunate that because of glamour Sania gets more publicity. Sania Mirza has become First Round Wonder for India.Unfortunately she gets very good players as opponents in the second round always.

gosh how do these wpr ms keep coming outa the woodwork? good for nothing player? considering the next best womens player frrom here was at a high of 410, u must be joking. or smoking sumthing. get a life dude. and if u cant stomach it, just stay the heck out.

Mahesh, Sania may not be too good but she is not good for nothing. She is definitely best woman tennis player of India now but against strong Russion and American women she looks mediocre.
The girl is a one match wonder. Only a bad opponenent makes her win matches or go thru second or third round. She may have talent , but she is very bad at self confidence, will power and passion. Its already many years that she has been in this profession without major success, so now it's waste to expect more from her. She had age, money, and opportunity by her side but sadly she could not make use of them.
Its deja vu.... again... I wonder when will this lady break this ominous jinx of going down & out in round 2.... & blame it all on her injuries ?
OK, granted that she's coming out of injury & that against a world no 10 Petrova.... But how long will these excuses suffice ? One can recall a 23 y.o. Somdev Dev Varman who ousted a former world No. 1 Carlos Moya just a fortnight ago at the Chennai Open. Somdev was again a nobody when he started off in 2003... This shows that its possible to rise above the odds... But something in Sania's game is seriously lacking....
Its high time she went back to the drawing board with a good coach & started all over again & mend the chinks in her armor and put all renewed dedication & effort. She can succeed but sadly enough she hasn't realized that as yet... well the sooner she does, the better... As Indians proud of our representative in Women's World Tennis, we can only hope for the best...
Sania pls get married,make biriyani & settle down..ha ha..Somehow Indian metabolism does not suit power games...So better indulge in mind games like Chess,carrom,cards & further on to cricket & retired guys glorified sports called "GOLF"(less of hitting & more of walking & talking the whole day/weeks)

Well she is no. 1 player of India and really has lots of potential. She was within 30 some time ago and I don't see and reason why she can't repeat the same. She is just recovering from her injury. Guys instead of critisizing her let us support her. Atleat she is representing India at AUS open.

She has been THE FACE OF WOMEN TENNIS for some time now and has brought name and fame as well to India tennis,just imagine had she not played tennis at all! Do give her credit for what ever she has done so for ! let's stop fighting over sania and look at why she is not progressing beyond 2nd round!! 1-very poor mental attitude,she has to be tough by herself and need to prepare mentally better for the occassion! 2-extremely poor service,may not improve also! 3-too many unforced errors,just makes even the best of the players just another also ran types! 4-it always appears she is trying to impress the spectators that she is a good player rather than being a good player 5- fitness problems as always!

She is the same sania mirza who think herself like a queen better spend some more time on court rather then shooting courts......... no one would remember if which was the last title she won bcoz always trying to be in fame and limelight,parties, promtoing brands etc...... Media had created her like a winning queen but she turned like a loosing ferry
Sania just put attandance in grand slam . She is highly over rated. She is also pleased just to participate in Grand Slam. She lacks motivation to win .

do u know how much efforts it takes to put just attendance in a grand slam. none of our tennis players even got qualified to play it,she has gone till second round. So stop talking like a loser and try to respect someone's achievemnets.
