We Indians love bickering. Just like on Rediff, tennis players can be expected to bicker, slander, fight, abuse, etc etc anytime their petty egos get bruised by real or perceived provocations. Everyone wants to be a leader in India, nobody wants to follow another.
The way these two are fighting proxy war,who needs opposition.First it was Mahesh saying his commitment is being questioned.Now the two are fighting a proxy war.Somewhere they have got to put to an end to this spat.There are no heroes in this battle.
These people dont want a person who played allthe life for the cause of india.other than cricket this is the only place we feee we are great because of leander. There is no place for religion, caste etc here as a indian.Kick them who are unfit here irrespective of their back ground like mahesh , etc . Give chance to some other young people who makes indian proud.Again , they are making him as a victim like Sourav Ganguly who gives his blood for india and protected the respect of india , we thrown him out when no one is able to show worth against him and they feel jelous about him and backstabed him. How you give respect like dhoni like selfish ones who dont want to person not based on merit or you are incapable of beating him in cricket so they backstabbed him and enjoying in Australia? Is this sport or the one we dream as INDIA?
I believe Paes gets himself into trouble since he is highly emotional - which used to show in his game. He has never won a singles title in the professional circuit but when he plays for India ... well, I still remember that 1993 Davis Cup SF against France. It may be wrong for him to expect the same emotion from colleagues - professionals in Tennis today place career miles ahead of country. Paes belongs to a long-lost era when people would play for honour. He is therefore a misfit in todays scenario and should retire post olympics.

Please revisit your Tennis gyaan. India played the 1993 Davis Cup semis against Australia in Chandigarh, after having beaten France in the Quarters. Also, your points are baseless.

I Agree with Skywalker, Leander is an emotional fool and does not believe in SKYWALKING he walks on earth and is a down to earth man. I also agree with skywalkerthat nowadays proffessional sportsmen care a DAMN for their countries! thats right, So why cry and crib in front of the countries Association? why dont they join some proffessional clubs and let some 'EMOTIONAL FOOLS' to play? If proffessionals have right to care a damn for their COUNTRY even Emotional Fools have an equal right to care a DAMN for CASH!!dont they?

you have no idea what you're talking about. and furthermore, emotion is translated into passion when leander plays for india....passion which comes forth from patriotism and which has seen him through tough games and made him so successful in the davis cup....the bottom line is that bhupathi is envious and looks for the slightest opportunity to cause problems.
such letter if any should have remained in the privacy of the tennis association, why should all crap be leaked to the media, who make a mountain out of a molehill... Such scenes are common when ego is at stake but the problem is everything leaks to the media...

Its true, if you join a company where somebody from ur close family is already working, then ppl will doubt your capability. Though Dr Paes is very capable and best doctor for Indian Tennis team, still we doubt his capa????

Dude, That is the question ? What is Dr. Doing ? Physio's job? There is definitely some Zhol? How come you are not able to find appropriate Physio for this Role ? How do you know this son-father telling truth ? And why there are three players against one player ?
So what L.Paes has won medals. There should be discipline. And Administrator should take care and not this Son-father due doing press conferences

Dude there wl be always ego clash. Here the adminstrator has to settle. Now Paes has his father as Dr. ? Hang on what it is Dr. doing there? It should be Physio right ? Look like Paes family control Tennis. That should be last thing for any sport ? How do we know, who is telling truth. How come majority of players are against captain? Must be Paes jhol ! lol!

That is o.k. But how come three players are against captain. Something must be wrong with Paes. Here administration role come? As a policy they should not have Paes father as team doctor? Is he doctor or Physio ? If is Dr. then what he is doing there? It is Physio's job. Sports me bhi bhai bhatija vad ? or should we say don-father due? Where r adminstrator ?

Doctors and physio are both needed. A physiotherapist can only be of use in case of injuries and other conditions which can be cured by exercise and external application of medicines. They cannot cure fever and other such situations which needed medicines to be administered to the players.
