Leander will be the last person in this world to do something like that. He is one of the players who wears the indian colour proudly and passionately. Its a dirty setup to tarnish his image , that's for sure.He is a gentleman to the core, otherwise he would have reacted to this problem immediately and said some remarks about mahesh who i think maybe creating all this problems for god knows why.

Mahesh is also a great player which Leander in my opinion fails to understand. Mahesh wears the colors proudly too. I have found some of Leander's remarks extremely juvenile. When Leander goes and cries foul, invariably Mahesh responds. I have never seen Mahesh initiate a row.

I think Jinglee you misspelt your name, it should have been Junglee. You see the comments from readers? They think of India before their state, not like you.

Both are different. And Leander is above them all. A True Indian play for his country. Not once but time and again he has proved his worth. He is a true champion of India. Unlike Mahesh only plays for his personal benefit. A Trouble maker always. Dont split our country as both are Indians. But Mehash still not matured enough. He does not understand the team spirit.

I am not impressed at all. We all love Saurav Ganguly & Leander Paes as well not because they are Bengali, but because of the fact that they are playing for our country. I am sorry to say that your comments are bias like Raj Thakery. Friends don't forget that we are Indians first then belong to our region. Please Please for god shake, for our country's shake never rise these useless issues like Bengali, Bihari or Marathi.
& as for as Leander Paes is concerned no need to say anyting. We all know how much he love his country & he will never make any decision for himself. His passion for Davis Cup & for playing for our country is will known. How can you forget his Olympic performance???. Anyways I belive he will come more stronger then ever after this issue.

Excuse me...I want to interrupt you. I am qualified post graduate physician. Fifteen diarrhoes and vomits will not land one up in a ICU. Please check your facts. I am not taking sides yet. I have received no benefits. Thanks.

abe desibaba... they also said it took them a couple of days to get things to normal.. pada nahi kya? chashma pehan
It is in the interests of both Leander and Mahesh to call a fullstop to their bickerings lest both of them be known in history as fools/scoundrels who destroyed what ever little was there in Indian Tennis. None of them will be a winner both will be villains. Somehow, I personally feel Mahesh to be the Guy with the bigger EGO - Specially his handling of the Sania Mirza (Not playing in India Crap - India is not a few fundamentalists - it is a nation of 1.1 Billion and to that point neither Sania's nor Mahesh's Properties!) and now not playing under Leander - Why? If you want to prove leander wrong prove him wrong by playing and not by not playing if you are true INDIANS
Contribution from Paes is more than collectively all these players. I have seen playing Paes and Mahesh live at Wimbledon. Paes definitely shows more focusing and concentration on the court than Mahesh. He has always kept country ahead of himself. There may be diffences but his contribution can not be ignored. Both Mahesh and Paes are great players and should resolve their issues else it will hamper pride of India in tennis...

Nilesh your views are correct on lee, but dont agree that all good players are good captains, captains are not necessarily good players. There must be something brewing from a longtime that this thing has happened in full glare
It is indeed shocking that we are criticising Leander Paes. He is among the few sportsman in the country who has always kept the country's interest ahead of any personal ones. He has always produced the best when playing for the country. While one may question some judgements, his motives cannot be doubted at all. The issue is unnecessarily blown out of proportion and needs to be sorted out by mature individuals.
