Think of a game that has medal prospects for India. If cricket is introduced in olympics, India still cannot hope to get a medal. Better lobby for gilli-danda. India will win the gold at least in the year the game is introduced in olympics. Ofcourse in the years to follow, other countries will learn the game, master it and banish India from a game it invented, just like hockey.

This is the very common way of thinking from a non hindu, always destructive & thinking negative. Don't hv guts to use their original name public forum even, always fear abt. getting cought or may be shamefull of mentioning that from which community they belongs, isn't it?
If we go by the logic of this person, why do we have hockey, football, basketball etc then in olympics? These are also team events and do not promote individual performance. Probably, his son/daughter would be a part of these teams so he is not commenting on these. Or he might have tried to enter the UK cricket team but could not succeed thats why he is cribbing. But person of his repute should not put biased comments. Either advocate removal of all team events from olympics or keep the mouth shut...!!

Cricket is the best sport because of it's nature of uncertainity one session,one wicket,one ball,one decision can change the whole game.That's teach a lesson that any time of your life work hard and see how luck will favour U to change conditions of your life.It's a really game of gentleman's.And should be play gently.In football one team score 2 - 0 and you can decide the winner mostly.Football is a game of skills it's not called a gentleman's game.I love cricket more then any game.I like to watck every sport.

11 fools are playing and 11 thousand witness... ha ha ha ha. Nations productivity goes down.. college / school attendance come down.. show managers and bookies make their money. All cricket buffs are mere fools except those make money out of it
Cricket is a time consuming game (earlier played for time pass by Britishers and handed over this time pass to their colonies)and being played by few nations. This game ought not to be introduced in Olympics.

I DO AGREE WITH YOU. IT IS TIME CONSUMING GAME. THE GAMES IN WHICH RESULTS ARE OUT IMMEDIATELT SHOULD ONLY BE INCLUDED FOR OLYMPICS. CRICKET WILL SPOIL THE OLYMPICS.
Exactly!!! Otherwise time will that there won't be Olympics but ony cricklympics. Let the ICC introduce this game in other nations. ICC could not even keep the 8 playing nations intact. Just to fill in their personal coffers they bring some unknown teams and it's a pity to see them butchered. ICC have been make so much money for many years but in the past 20 years thay are not able to introduce this game in any country and even if they do... they introduce some unknown teams just before world cup and after that they are put to death.
