Beat aussies many times over the last few yrs 3.chased 406 in the windies in 1971 against 4 gr8 fast bowlers like holding,croft,roberts,marshall etc 4. BCCi supports other sports also..gave 25 laks to bindra 5. thousands of cricket academies for kids 6. Hosted wrld cup,champions cup etcc..and world richest cricket body 7. The passion shown by Sreesanth and Harbhajan is an example to ppl on how to fight against racist people. Pppl like Sree, robin, bhajji are the face of NEW,AGGRESIVE YOUNG INDIA!! 1 series loss against lanka will happen..remember aussies lost ashes 2005. But they came back.
Taking this into picture, Cricket shud be our national game..and its rightly said that cricket is OUR religion and SACHIN is god!

it is because of such partial attitude that the other sports are not being promoted and supported. Where Sachin drives a Ferrari, our national record holders do not have the support to buy even the shoes necessary to do the training!

Sachin...Dhoni...these are demi-gods to us. They get the best of luxury,treatment and fan following wherever they go....cricket has a definite infrastructure in this country though it is played by only 12-14 nations. On the other hand, football is the most popular game in the world. The soccer world cup is truely the greatest show on earth.....but Indian football?? Who cares!! But amidst all odds, our soccer team has made us proud.....hats of to Baichung...Sunil Chetri...Subrato Paul...and the others.....you have been true heores and not paper tiger cricket (mega)stars.
Its sad that Media did'nt pay much attention to this one of the best performance by the Indian team in final. All national media give wide coverage of simple one day criket game. Yesterday where was media on this greatest Indian victory .

Greatetst victory...lol! Tajikistan is lowere than luxembourg in rankings! Boss, Team india were WOrld champs last yr in T20..and beat wrld no 1 Aussies in ODI series, with the GOD(sachin) leading us to victory. Plus the passion shown by Bhajji and sreesanth, who are the face of young aggresive india.
