Leander Paes is a low-life Loser. India needs to dump this loser from its team. This guy never plays for India, just for his own selfish needs. Leander and his father Vece Paes are running a tennis-mafia in India, and have somehow completely overpowered the Sports Authority of India, so that the whole tennis-show in India is being run by the Paes Christian Mafia. And after all that India has done for him, Leander keeps whining and washing his own petty private filthy linen in public. This guy reminds me of Azharuddin, who after receiving so much from Indian cricket, went on to say that he was being treated unfairly because he was a 'minority'. Even in his private life, Leander is a low-life. He suffered a brain infection, brought about by eating infected pork. His then girlfriend Mahima Chaudhury strayed by his side the whole time that he was in hospital. After Leander recovered from his infection, he two-timed Mahima with some other women, and finally dumped Mahima.
Bolta hai like he'd have won some 2 Wimbledon mens singles. He's lucky Hesh came and helped him win some thing. Now Hesh has many more titles than this politics h'rami.
it is to bad to go public on such type of matters, board should take serious action against paes, and see that it should not repeat this type of incidencess. since board is week (it applies to all the sports gourning bodies) all the plauers are airing their differencess in the public. this is not good(very very bad)for the sports. reddy Mysore
Sportsmanship seems to be really missing in the words. When you are playing for the country, participating and winning should be the only attitude, rather than chasing your individual needs.
come on leander, am sure u had ur own personal greed to quit singles (probably even u knew that ur best was not good enuf?). Besides, so what if u had to give up singles after all the fame u have now is courtesy bhupati and vice versa. Its cos of your initial joint efforts that both of you are recognised today. Looks like every time you are cornered, you come out to the media to gain sympathy by snubbing bhupathi or playing the patriot card. We all pride the indian flag flying high. Wish both of u had continued to play together, anyway good luck for the olympics...
no question about it. He had enormous singles potential After winning Pilot pen Intl open at New Haven, he should have concentrated on singles and cut down on his doubles
Most top singles players do not give priority to doubles to focus on their singles career

first of all leander didnt win pilot pen open...he won hall of fame atp championship in newport which was his maiden atp championship. yes he beat pete sampras in pilot pen open i guess in 3rd round but lost in quarters
