said it buddy. Besides Bhupathi's record speaks for him. This kid is always throwing tantrum to get attention. Show biz kid.
whatever paes has told is wrongly timed!!! he ahould have atleast waited till the tie is over.worst he is telling about a partner with whome he won GRANDSLAMS which he could not have achieved had he played ALONE!!!! highly UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE!!
1999 was the best year for Indian tennis as HESH-LEE reached all the four grandslam finals and won TWO of them!!
Paes had said....... "When I was at the top of my singles career, I actually sacrificed my rankings to play Satellites and Future tournaments with him [Bhupathi] so that he could be at par with me"
His version could be true but what he forgot to mention is Bhupati kept on improving constantly to catch him up while his performance was stand still.

But he was at the top of his singles career, isn't he admitting that anyway he couldn't have done better? LOL
what an idiot paes is..... such a pain in the you know what after all the accolades and high ratings that the two have won together... nice way to start the so called preparations for the olympics paes

Most importantly, Hesh has won many more titles after breaking up with Paes. That itself is a slap on Paes' face.
All the Indian Tennis players refused to play under him in Davis Cup. Now people will know, why they have protested against Paes. Is this, the way one pay tribute to his partner, who helped him get many wins doubles.? Is the Mahesh, pulled him out of singles, when he was winning singles ? So stupid and Childish !
He could have done better in singles had he cut down on doubles,or paired with a accomplished doubles player He is just lamenting his own decision. So,no big issue
