bows out???....tennis sensation???....are we talking about colossus here?...cause these words sure don't fit the person your're talking about....stop portraying sania as a saviour to indian tennis dreams..thatz gotten into her head...and she's on an ad signing spree rather than a winning one...and i won't be surprised if one day she takes a detour to bollywood...coz she's got a lot of money for a big makeover.....first of all she's been kicked out...she did not bow out....n secondly she's not a tennis sensation...she's just a tennis shame.. a mere limelight hogger...the media should concentrate on boosting the images of more upcoming talents and deserving youngsters than just boosting her to get a headline.....

Sania lost in 1st round
by deb on May 31, 2006 01:20 PM

At least media is not terming it as "shocking defeat" anymore. That is better. Media should leave her alone and wait until she really achieve something and Sania also should concentrate on improving her play, fitness than her looks, ear rings etc. This first round loss will be good for her. She can realize her actual position in world pro-tennis and work to do well in future.

Give her a break
by Tarun on May 31, 2006 08:19 AM

Clay court isn;t her fav surface, so wait till you see her at Wimbledon before passing judgement. Of course there is too much hype surrounding her but that shouldn;t be the reason for any one to start preaching.

Chill
by vijay on May 31, 2006 07:03 AM

Wow!
dudes
take a chill pill and calm down
mind you, the opponent's not a weak one here
honestly, expecting her to win over the likes of sharapova, myskina, henin whenever she plays against them is asking for a little too much

Sania
by ramani on May 31, 2006 04:21 AM

Look at the way the Media still dotes on Sania. She has done little worthwhile on the tennis courts since months. She.yet the Media never tires of calling her as Sensation. It is downright stupidity .this craving for hype. The fact is that Sania is ever unlikely to be more than a mediocre player as she does not possess the one amd most important fast service. Today's game is all power and more power serve and volley.

Sania ... No More Excuses Please !
by Sreeni on May 31, 2006 01:36 AM

I'm sorry to say, but it's the name, fame and wealth that screwed sania totally up. And Mahesh Bhupathi, not sure helped her become a better player is also responsible for the damage since he is also making money thru his company by promoting her for ads.

And i had read enough of Sania's excuses and outbursts against media and the people, but she also should remember it's the same people that lifted her up and brought the sponsorships and what not.

My advise to the stupid state govts. is, don't gift lumpsum cash and houses to one time wonders, gift them permanantly based on a 3 or 5 year track record of a player. After All, it's the people's money!

Sania, it's not too late, concentrate on the game not on fame, heck why do you care, now that you are sitting on a pile of cash. We are stupid!

Sania needs an astrologer Urgently
by Ram Sarma Konduri on May 31, 2006 01:30 AM

Sania

At least now Sania you understand where you really stand in WTA. You would be successful if you can consult an Astrologer and play on those days when your stars are good.

Honestly Sania say's " I have nothing to loose ". When ever she lost in her game, She was really honest She has NOTHING to loose. - Hope fans understand her sentence.

Its the time for Sania to think alternate career options.

Wish you the best sania

thanks
