Promtion of Sports In India.

It is truly wonderful to note the kind of help that comes to sports people from the trust, but is that enough?

What we need is to create an atmosphere amongst the masses that they too start thinking of sports and athletics as a carreer.

I have drawn up a 3 year programme to exactly that.

The Programme is such that it would create a frenzy amongst the masses, that even a retired person would think if such a programme had come during his heydays he too would have opted to take up sports as a career as a 'first choice'.

Such forceful will be th impact of this programme.

The Cost of the Programme will be around Rs. 100 Crores over three years and cover over 150 districts and over 20,000 villages all over the country.

All that I need is that Honourable Shri LN Mittal, bless the programme and become its chief promoter.

I can assure that every corporate will follow, support and sponsor the programme and the entire country will feel indebted to Hon. Shri Mittal jee for taking the initiative.

Hoping this catches the eye of Hon Shri Mittal jee.

A copy of the programme could be mailed on receipt of ready willingness to enact on it if found worthy only.

Thx n regards

I like the attitude shown by Mr Mittal

We need more of such gentlemen who will help talented
youngsters to achieve their dreams

My concern is help should reach the really needy players.

let us wait and see....

Its really heartening that Mr.Mittal has given Rs.40 crore for develpoment of sports, but i would like to mention a few points here
1.The fund should be effectively used for this purpose which is never going to happen in india.
2.Mr.Mittal being such a big businees tycoon is not going to give this huge amount as a charity, this will
surely have tax exemptions...but atleast this amount is being used for sports...
let us wait..only time will tell, otherwise we will have another scam just like the fodder....
