Its really great to listen that our army chief had decided to leap towards this job, there is no doubt that the results will come much earlier than the time expected because this is nither a project like ganga action plan nor lead by our devoted politicians. My best wishes are with Mr Padmanabhan and all the members who are associated with this great deal.

Dear Sir, This is really an excellent news coming from the veterans of the Army.The Indian army has proved time and again that they are the best in mountain war fare and long time endurance and fighting capabilities.All the sports in which the Chinese, the Koreans and the Japanese are good at can be mastered by the Indians. How about winter olympics when a million peopel are permanently posted in the high altitude snow for such a long time? The army should make sure that third rate polticians do not mess with the selectionof the candidates for the training. good luck to these folks.They deserve a ROYAL SALUTE. Jaihind.
That is great news. I am sure this institute will produce athletes of world callibre just like the army produces soldiers of the world callibre. We have it in us. We just need some guidance and motivation. Is there a web site for the institute?
I think this is great idea , for Indian youth surely needs the discipline and guidence towards sports , it is high time parents start thinking of rich food as status symbol and feed the family towards obesity. Indian youth will awaken to different sports and surely the talent will get tapped . This is a welcome move by Army .
